Club were extremly supportive well funded and institute is very chill.
Seniors are very chill with juniors in vitp
College overall attendance and faculty are friendly

Dislikes

Small campus limits sports activity and intake is too much.
Even though lot of clubs are there there is not much space for clubs
Area around vit pune is total slums and very nasty

Course Curriculum Overview

See maintaining a good cgpa in vit pune is easy task due to easy and highly industry relveant syllabus so teaching favulties also dont think that they are teaching random irrelevant stuff and which results in friendly environment

See campus placement and various Mou have been signed with foreign unis IT and financial companies along with some core companies Still there is a huge chunk like 10 20 percent which hows for higher studies and placement percentage is aroung 70 to 80 percent Laat year around 250 plus companies visited vitpune and highest was 50 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Now the college is a in top 3 pune so it is actually a good colleges with much amount of extra curricular activites And for the fees that is 2 lakh per year its actually worth it for open For ews obc it is 1.1lakh for vjnt sbc tfws it is 33k Ans sc st its less than 10k Scholarship is also given by the state government if u are admitted thru cap round and it depends on income too

Campus Life

Vishwarkarandak is the annual fest of college They have a central library so its helpful for each and every department student to borrow books Technologicak provisions are also there They have around 52 clubs so u can imagine the no of extra curricular activites

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and rented rooms are quite expensive around here which makes it hard for student tot survive and quality of mess and food is good but not that good and there are various scams relate to broker and all going on around the campus

Admission

I had to be admitted in pune so i chosed vit p over pccoe cse or pict entc cause first of all pccoe and pict both are strict and school like colleges i dont wanted to be in a strict environment like school

Faculty

See faculties are friendly they tend to solve ur problems and make sure that they do not irritate the students and as college is autonomous so the syllabus is industry designed and very less student fail

Night Life

The nightlife around campus is not that good shops close around 11 and thereafter there are few clubs in the rea but most students go to the club to other regions for clubbing and as the area around is very conservative so don't expect a nightlife near college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
