AKGEC | NAAC-A++ | Honest Review

The course is not at all new , it is based according to the course set by the AKTU hence it is not new. But the faculties offers students to study the new technology and guide the intersted students in the best way. The exam's difficulty level is moderate. The semester consists of two sessional tests and one PUTs(Pre-University Tests).

The internships offered by the companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Accenture and freelancing internships. Learn the skills. Get to work under some projects. Just certificate don't help much. If you want good work and good money , then start working for some projects , publish your work on LinkedIn and apply for internships.

After the completion of 6th semester, the companies start visiting the college providing pre-placement offer. Recently the companies visited college were TCS, HCL, Accenture. Highest package from college is 1.13 Cr(Amazon) and the average package range from 4-5 Lakhs. If something with good set of skills and good CGPA(around 8 CGPA) can get around 8-12 Lakhs.

In the first year of college the fees is ?1,21,896 which includes the tuition fees, registration fees, book bank fees ( which needs to be returned after the end of each semester) and the security fees( returned after the completion of the course). For the SC,ST and OBC category, there is some relief but it can be enjoyed after passing the certain criteria like 75% attendance. With each passing year, the fee starts depriciating by a margin of 500 or 1000 rupees.

One who is interested in sports then this college backs the students good in sports. The college also participates in the zonals, inter-college and sports hosted by IITs. The society life is best life. You get to participate in the events and enjoy them from the VIP seat.

I got accepted in Jaypee, JSS, AKGEC and ABES but I preferred AKGEC above all the others. The reason for choosing AKGEC was my brother's advice as also graduated from the same college. One can get admission into this college via JEE(mains). If someone hasn't given JEE, they can get admitted to college based on their 12th class marks and then they will have to pass the interview round.

For every 15 students ,there are 2 faculties. The faculties are good if you show interest in their subject or study related to their subjects, they will guide you in the best way possible. If you don't perform well in the exams then it will affect ypur internal marks other than that the faculties don't have any issue with the student.

The college's nightlife is not that good. The timing of hostels is 7PM. You can enjoy inside hostel but you can not enjoy in open space. If you want to visit any other place away from college then you can visit KaviNagar, RDC which provides good cafes , PvR and shopping complexes.
