- i am amazed by the campus and the way it is maintained and kept clean
- the manner they teach the student and interact with them . they also help us is difficulty we face during the course
- paper pattern they give us to write the paper is of 50 marks written and 50 internal and 5 marks min qestion and 10 marks max question and total 28 in written to pass and total 40 to pass
Dislikes
- the time they have events and seminar it cannot be attended due to clash of lecture or practical
- the schoralship is provided based on the merit
- the parking is limited due to large crowd with vechile
Course Curriculum Overview
the way they interact with students and they teaches us they provide us real world problems to solve in labs for betterment in future courses and jobs they need to improve in the courses like yoga and othe OEG course i feel like that course are not relavent to are field the exam are held on perfect frequency like after 3 months from course start the unit is held after 2 months from unit the final sem exam in taken and sem is hrld for q month in this practical , submission and paper are conducted
Placement Experience
from 5th semester students aee eligible for campus placment there are around 200 companies which provide placement to student in are college , like tata google microsoft cap gemini postman walmart mahindra and so on for high payment placement min 8.5 gdp and meduim payment placement min 6.5 gdp im aim to get master in information technology after degree for betterment in the company
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 450000 a year and each year around 4% the charges increases and the fees can be paid in a installment manner for easy of payment The tution fees for every year is 443205 ,caution fee is 1000, registration fee is 2000 it is non refundable ,the admission fee is 500, the development fee is 57591,lab fee is concluded in the tution fee, exam fee is 3300 and insurance fee is 125 all student pay in the same amount. there are finicial aid based on minority and merit based it differ according to companies around 50 to 70% is returned
Campus Life
the annual event is abhinatrik event which conduct all types of event like techinal hackathon ,drama games etc February,October . the library is full of book related to every fields and topics , there are also books that arr written by expert professors. the sports are held in such a way that it goes around a week. they have a great ground/ttack for sports and they also have an Olympic size swimming pool. they have student club as well as a social media account for latest event and hackathon news/inform at night
Admission
i had applied in vidyalankar and sabo siddque. i got accepted i sabo siddue but i choose somaiya college because campus and placment are excellent in somaiya. i got rejected from vidyalankar college due to insufficient aggregate in diploma the admission process for it course is easy just apply for course at somiaya website and the course will be alloted based on merit of exam you have given
Faculty
the are 1 faculty to 10 student 1:10 and they are around 7 lecturer for one subject to teach rach topic is teached by other lecturer and they are special seminar for every topic for better understandment they the faculty help us any time we inform them they provide multiple solution for single problem there are multiple faculty i like because they interact with us and teaches us happily. there are 1 unit and 1 final exam in each sem 5 subject and 1 only practical subject they are very adaptable course curriculum
Night Life
the college campus is closed after 6:30 to all students hostel timing entry till 8:30pm campus timing from 7:30 to 6:30 there is a maggie outlet in campus and engineering cafeteria the best food to have in campus tennis court. Mcdonald ghatkopar east near college there is gaming cafetaria . the main gate area is fully safe to roam at night but the gate 2 is dark at night
