Course Curriculum Overview

5

. I personally studied psychology because of considering the fact that it also helps me shape into an ideal individual with values in my growth d life. . my course helps me in so many real life aspects as it shapes me to be a person who helps others heal within themselves which ultimately leads to becoming a better world. There should be more real world exposure practicalities in this field and the faculties should be more experienced and educated about the course more deeply. Also the exams offer more sense of application to know our capacity to study the topic. The difficulty level is medium to hard according to the topics and personal revision that person took in the course

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fee includes rupees: 30,000. One year comprises of 2 semesters of 15,000 rupees each. In total we have 6 semesters Hostel fee per month: 8400 rupees No scholarship currently availed for me The course fee increases and decreases throughout the semesters. Slight variation in the semester fee Course fee changes and varies for differnet courses. There are courses which demands upto 50,000 rupees.

Campus Life

4

my experience is overall good and i expect it to thrive in the coming years in my college. . here we have onam celebration, food fest, college day, ethnic day, arts day, palestine solidarity programme, club programmes, union inauguration and induction ceremony etc. No active sports activities here. .we have a lot of clubs which are really active and thrive in social activities. It includes aesthetic club, interactive club, sparkers club, letters club, spiritual club, radio club, green club, entrepreneurship development club, innovation club, cells include anti narcotic, women club, anti sexual harassment and women protection, cyber club etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

the hostel room includes 5 people in one room and some room is dorm with 8 or 9 people. The hostel room has good beds, tables, elecrvity good and clean bathroom facilities and individual wardeobes etc... The meal quality is above average and our menu includes veg and non veg. Overall good food. The registeration process for hostel is simole and easy and you have to y 3 months fee in advanve for admission. Hostel gee is 8400 per month. But considering the facilitues it is affordable.

Admission

the main reason I took this college is for my individual and moral development. I wanted fo grow personally in so many ways. .considering the aspect of individual development this college is a good option. If u consider other aspects like academic development you should apt for other colleges. .i got admission in many colleges, safi college, uc college, farooq college but due to lack of available hostel facilities i chose this college. I got admission by first applying for cap id. Then through merit i got admission in the college in the second allotment.i had overall nive experience in thus college .

Faculty

2

The faculties are less in number compared to the students and classses. ..i personally like the faculty in my department of psychology. The teachers are very welcoming and open to discussions and constructive critiscism. ..some faculties are very unwelcoming and rude in ways students feel so bad about themselves. Teachers often criticise students for participating in activities other than academics. They often are lazy at some times. There are 6 semester exams that are taken by students. Also during semesters we have a model examination before the main university examinations. Students fail exams due to not thorough revision and difficulty of exams.the course curriculum seems to be very apt for the courses we are studying other than the complimentary subjects which i think is unnecessary

Night Life

1

There is no night life in our college. Don't expect that and come here. There is a peace square in our campus in the center of our college surrounded by trees all over. . there are gym facilities available with few equipments.the collge cafeteria has so many snacks but no heavy food or gpay facility available. There is library working until 5 pm in the evening with massive book collections and ebook and computer facilities.there is unlomited free wifi 24/7 in the hostel. the hostel timings is until 6 pm in evening you can go out.there is ansar cafe and lot of hotels and cafes outside the camous.the locality is very safe and secure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
