Remarks
So our college opened last year , so first setback is that it's not very renowned and we have visiting faculty but the faculty is very nice and knowledgeable too, and third is that we don't have a permanent campus as now , so we share our campus with NAIR which sometimes is stressful and not very pleasant but because of it we also get familiar with great personalities like Dr. E.Shridharan AKA "the metro man" of India and also our chancellor is CRB i.e chairman railways board so yes we can boast about it.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's very good and workload is quite appropriate. The first year contains a plethora of foundational courses like Critical Thinking, Design Thinking, Data Analytics, Systems Thinking, Essentials of Business and Technology, Economics, Laedership, Ethics and Sociology.
Placement Experience
Being the foundational batch, it will be hatching ducks in the eggs itself if we start discussing placements right there. However, in the freshman year only, all students have been allotted internship with Indian Railways, something unprecedented in other colleges.
College Events
Being a national college, we celebrate all festivals celebrated in every nook and corner of this country. Be it Lohri, Christmas, Holi & especially Navaratri with special Garba sessions ,all dressed in traditional Gujarati dresses.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is feasible and being founding batch I also got 50 percentage scholarship on tution fees and it worths every penny considering the facilities provided by the college and hostels rooms are on dual sharing basis but even so , the hostel charge is very low.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes we have hundred percentage full scholarship if student qualifies the criteria for the scheme. And also the college have various scholarship schemes on basis of annual family income and also loan facilities are also available.
Campus Life
As we are budding institute and all labs are in making also our current campus is shared with NAIR , and we have all outdoor sports facilities available to us in current campus and high speed rail lab is also coming to our institute.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for hostel and charges are minimal considering all rooms are provided with AC units and high speed LAN connection , and hostel room is on dual sharing so it's very comfortable and cleaning is also done by the cleaning staff.
Alumni/Alumna
As I am a part of founding batch so , there is no question of existing alumni but also as my freshman year completed just two days before so I will be a senior for the next batch
Admission
I applied for entrance exam conducted by the university and finally qualified for admission and they finally called for counselling process at NRTI and I got selected. The entrance test conducted is of 100 questions divided in 4 sections- GK, Reasoning, Mathematics, English
Faculty
Faculty is quite qualified, dignified and cool. We have had teachers from the likes of XLRI, IIT Madras, ISB Hyderabad, IMT Ghaziabad, ISI Kolkata, NID Ahmedabad etc. The pedagogy is very informative as well as adaptive and inclusive.
