My nursing journey in Igmc shimla

The timing that we get for wrotten exam is 3 hours and it is of 75 marks. We get 40 sheets and students mostly try to fill all tjose 40 sheets the difficulty level is moderate as direct questions are asked. No out of syllabus questions are asked.

The intership program is good but not so good as they don't take us anywhere outside the cuty for greater exposure. Its just that they take us to Kamla nehru hospital for mother and child for obs and gynae internship and to Indira gandhi medical college.

It is a government college and obviously the fees is not so high but the environment and surrounding is not good at all. The seniors are very rude. Teachers are good. But the life is very hectic. I would not suggest unless you have some financial issue grom your family. Hostel is not good rahter stay in a pg or a room.

The campus life is not much happening here. So dont exoect that college life you see in movies and series. You will have to adjust and really forget other things to survive here. The facilities are not so good

I gave the examination for this course which is held by hpu ( himachal pradesh university) and i got enrolled in this institution as it is a government college and a reputed one in the state. So who would leave a government seat?

There are a minimum of 3 exams per year as I was in a annual examination but the scenario has changed now as it has become semesters system now. But the exam that is really focused upon is the annual exam that takes place once a year and the practicals that takes place before the writtej examination.

Lol. There is no night life here. There are just night duties in the name of night lofe nothung else. The famous hangout place outside the college is obviously the mall road and ridge which is famous all over shimla
