- You cannot enroll in any clubs by yourself in the first year of the college.
- The fees is low but the college asks for exam fees and many more fees which is around 5 to 10 k.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well designed as it as an autonomus college they made the curriculam simple and easy without diluting the process. The curriculum consiste to teach studenta various programing languages and also various languages to speak which helps in the real world.
Internships Opportunities
Tcs and cap gemini are the main two companies to visit the college. There are good internship offers in the college and u can also apply for off campus internship. Projects are given by the companies to the student and they must work on it.
Placement Experience
The campus place.ents are pretty good. From 6tha and 7th sem the campanies start approaching the students for placements. Mostly the college has companies like TCS , Cap gemini and many more. The mass recruiters mostly visit the college. The avg package is about 3.5 lpa and the highest package is around 52 lpa.the percentage of students getting placed is above 80%. I am planning to get a goid job and start a buisness after some time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees of DYPCOE Akurdi is around 1.35 lacs per year.The category fees varies as per. Their are no hostel provision in the campus so outside the campus you will get many options like paying guest(pg) and hostels. The pg and hostels rent around 65 to 90 k per year as the location and condition of the room. It is based on cot basis. The college has a good campus and large campus with a good environment.
Campus Life
As i am a first year student till now no fest has been done in my college. There is vast number of boiks in the library. There are smart boards located in the classrooms. There is no much focus on sports and cca in the college. There are many groups and clubs in the college but most of them take students in their second year.
Hostel Facilities
Ther is one room which has 2 cota they provide the bed 1 closet halfly divided in 2 peaple and 2 study tables and 2 chairs. Meal is average everywhere as it is mess food u cant expect more from it.It dont taste good but it is better then eating outside as ot will not lead u to food poisioning. For hostel registration u must report the hostel or contact them. The locality is good as there a re many hostel and pg around.
Admission
I got kjsce mumbai in my spot round and i had an option between dypcoe and kjsce and i choosed dypcoe. There is no difference in both collegs both are same and equal at their level th only advantage dypvoe has is it is located in pune and kjsce is in mumbai. And pune s weather is much more comforting then mumbai s weather.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is pretty good. They teaxh us greatly some times they maybe rude but they really love us. There are total 6 exams in one year which consisits of 4 unit test which are easy and twoe end sem exam which is moderate level exam.
Interview Experience
The addmission is taken on the basis of jee mains and a state entrance exam which is mht cet. The exam consists of 3 subjects maths, physics and chemistry. One should apply for the entrance exam which is conducted in the month of april or may.
Night Life
Gym is not in a good condition and do not have good equiptments. There are two cafeterias in the college and both are great as the food quality is good and maintained and they are worth it. There is a different canteen which only has veg in it. Hostel intime varies through but the most common time is arournd 11 pm.
