Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course gets focused to the branch after 2nd sem and it is very career focused. They teach you all the necessary languages and get into detail in the later sem which is career focused. They hold workshops and a lot of externals come to make the students learn about real world applications. For example: 3d printing, Artificial intelligence etc.

Placement Experience

5

I'm still in 1st sem so I'm not super sure about the placements but the percentage of placements for CSE in 2023 was around 90% which is a very high number. Most of the students get placed in a good company

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees I am paying is around 2 lakh 80 thousand per year through COMEDK which makes it a bit cheaper. The Management fees for cse is 7 lakh 50 thousand per year and KCET is one lakh 30 thousand per year.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is really good, there are various clubs that you can take part and there are events that keep taking place that make the college life colourful. And of course anadyanta that takes place every year which is one of bangalores biggest college fests

Admission

I applied to BMSIT as well But I found thi college better because year by year the placements are getting better for this college and also the CSE department of NMIT is better than Bmsit so I opted for this college. I got rejected by Bmsce and PESU as I didn't have the desired COMEDK cutoff. The COMEDK cutoff for CSE this year I was 15.8k

Faculty

4

The faculties are super supportive with the students they're always ready to help under any circumstance. They're always open and ready to clear the doubts. The computer faculty is fantastic as you can ask any computer related doubts either academics and non academics THEYRE always good.I didn't like the ELECTRONICS faculty as they are too pushy for good marks and they add unrealistic standards for scoring well. Even though they do help out if there is doubts there is a sense of pressure of doing well. There are 3 exams which are conducted and the difficulty is moderate. It was never a struggle or it wasn't anything new that you've studied

Night Life

4

The gym is subpar I wouldn't recommend going there, the library is alright as well it isn't the biggest. There's good greenery for walking but nightlife is only restricted to hostel students. Day scholars usually aren't allowed late in the college.Famous hangout spots are the Maggie station and the basketball court

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly relevant and covers both theoretical and practical concepts needed for academics and basic industry knowledge. Some subjects are updated according to current trends, but adding more industry-oriented projects and practical exposure would make it even better.

Our placements start right in the final year as when you look at the comparison a lot of our students gets placed through PPO. Cyber Physical Students are already less and so pushing the speed is what MIT Manipal does in the final year as placements are always our college's first priority.
