Course Curriculum Overview

4

Great faculties provide opportunities to success. But one thing that should be changed is that there should be newer equipments in lab and workshops as it will then increase the interest of students and result coming out will be satisfactory

Internships Opportunities

4

A lot of companies come for summer internship to take students of different branches under their training scheme. Companies like Google, UBS, Goldman Sachs, etc have come and taken students from our college for 2-3 months internship

Placement Experience

4

Before the Covid attack there was 100% placement rate in VNIT. But after that quite a few things have changed but overall we have got a good placement rate. Mid to top tier companies arrive for placements and internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the span of 4 years category people have to submit a fees of 4.5 Lakhs and the general category people submit 8 Lakhs(includes hostel and academic fees). SWS students can avail different scholarships through the programs introduced for category students

Campus Life

4

Our cultural fest is called "AAROHI" and our tech fest is called "AXIS". Both are amazing events where students can get an insight on an unforgettable experience. College life is great here with amazing friends

Hostel Facilities

4

Different hostels have different pros and cons. The pros for my hostel are that it is quite as it has less people and everything is very close to our rooms like the cooler and washroom. One con is that of we shout too much the guards can hear it easily

Admission

I mainly wanted to take admission in this college as it is not much far from my home place. It is good college has good nirf rating and travel friendly distance too. Placement rate is also good and there isn't much restriction here

Faculty

4

Some faculties are quite understanding and kind while some are rude. The teaching is very good for most of the professors while some have a different teaching method which not bad but quite difficult to grasp. Overall we have great faculties

Night Life

4

We have a gym with all the equipments required for body training. A huge library is there at the centre of campus with all the books required for the courses. Nice everyday cafeteria where it is packed with students. Good night life

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.
