Tales pf Nit Kurukshetra

Coding was my go to career decision from start and at the time i joined college it was among top 5 nits but now it has declined overall due to bad management. Teachers teach nothing that leads to academic pursuits only one or two teachers are there who literally care for students. Their method is pretty old and most of them hasn't adapted with the time. Also the frequency of exams is very much taking two mid sems is unnecessary and iff you miss one there are mid sem3 which are even tougher.

Tuition fee and hostel fees is included in Tuition fee only which is around 78000 for a semester for a general candidate without any income quota. But based on income quota accordingly it gets reduced to 7000-8000 per semester. Additional mess bill has to be paid according to their diets which is around 30000 per semester.

There are annual cultural fest,2nd largest in north colleges and a technical fest, also there are lot of active clubs for different people based on their choice and they even participate in other colleges fests too. In this manner college is pretty chill and most of students are able to socialize easily.

At the time i joined college was among to p5 nits and this was the 5th , other four were in south and i dont want to go in south so this was the best option based on my rank in north on the basis of jee mains and near to my home, i can travel to my home on weekends if needed easily.

There is lack of faculty, some sections are taught by postgraduate students and classes gets clashed pf teachers due to lackness of faculty. There are faculties like mayank dave and jk chabbra which are very true to their work and thus they are strict but in teaching wise they are one of the best teachers. There are teachers which are very free and aren't strict but teaches nothing. There are two mid sems of 15 marks each and an endsem of 50 marks.

For girls there are restrictions of 8.30 in evening but boys can roam around anywhere in college anytime.for outside campus it's 11 in night at last after that one can only enter or leave in emergency.
