Course Curriculum Overview
There are more innovative curriculum activities conducted in our college reflecting student skill and also help in developing their conversation ability .The curriculum activities are held in our college auditorium
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee structure is like the total fees is six thousand of total course and the per year fee is fivteen thousand.And there is also some scholarship is also provided to st and sc student to encourage them
Campus Life
Overall experience with campus life is not very exciting. Club involvement is there but there are very few clubs in college giving us very less flexibility in this matter. Library is open for very less time and collection of books is decent but books are very old. It is closed on weekends and timming is 10.30AM to 5.00PM on weekdays. Sports activities are not very frequent but there are few events. In everyday life college doesn't promote sports activities and even infrastructure is lacking in that sense. But students are free to use limited sports infrstructure which is available in campus.
Admission
I applied to few other colleges like Nirma university, LD college of engineering, MSU, etc. I got confirmed admission in all of the above mentioned college but i particularly choosed VGEC because I was getting admission in a branch which I liked the most. I got rejection from above mentioned colleges but in branch which i wanted, due to less rank in ACPC. For admission in my college one have to clear board exams and give GUJCET exam, then ACPC will release a merit rank. Then by simply going through acpc counselling one can get admission here if you clear cutoff. Or one can get admission through JEE Mains score too. Most students prefer acpc exam over jee. Cutoff depends on branch, for example acpc rank for computer engineering was 1396 for open category for EC cutoff was 5222 for open category.
Faculty
The student and faculty ratio is like 60 students are taught by a single faculty at a time .I like Snehal mam she is our physics faculty ..I like almost all faculty because of their teaching style their teaching style are really good
Night Life
There is a economically affordable gym and a good environment for fitness, outside the college there are several cafes and restaurants at affortable price. library is avaliable at college as well as otside of it. There is no restriction for timing of hostel for boys. GTU garden located at the campus of GTU is a very good to hangout with friends. Riverfront is a very good place to hangout at night.
