Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

BTech in Electrical engineering is a very prestigious and evergreen engineering stream where a student learns about electrical equipment, working and making the structure of that equipment, power supply, powerhouses, and power grids and transformers, etc.

Placement Experience

4

Placement record has always been the main positive point about the NITs and they deliver it about what they are known for. Last year students were placed in Power Grid with the highest package of 13 lakhs and the lowest packages were offered between 3-5 lakhs from the companies like TCS, Infosys, and ETS.

College Events

4

Events were organized during our college days, I don't remember now what were the events but mainly were the Freshers party, Farewell Party and yes, a lot of seminars were organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is reasonable and affordable at the same time. Fees are charged on a semester basis that is that was rupees 35000 per semester as tuition fees, except this there were extra rupees 30300 were taken as institution fees, hostel fees, and one time transportation and accommodation fee in the starting of the first year and after that every semester it was around 40K per semester. Mess charges were extra Rs. 3300 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the scholarship program is there as it is a government college so there were scholarships and even the banks used to be always ready to give you a loan for your study because of the NIT reputation.

Campus Life

4.5

We have a great campus life and we have made very sweet memories there for our lifetime. As the days were coming close to leaving the college campus, it was making us uncomfortable and sad as we were parting from our friends.

Admission

After qualifying my intermediate, I appeared in JEE exams as I already preparing for it and qualified it with a good percentile then by JoSSA counseling, I was allotted this College.

The campus scenario is improving day by day but it is not still upto the mark. Many companies come for hiring but most of which offer only average package of 4LPA which is very less compared to other colleges. Highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA.

The placement are very good here. I have joined recently so yah I don't know much about the highest and average placement of the institute. The highest percentage among all is from mechanical. The students of mechanical engineering had a higher percentage of jobs as compared to other branches. I will do M.Tech after my B.Tech.
