Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is quite bad bcuz we are in morden world so they teach some unusual subject in first year that is not relevant to us and some core subjects are not mentioned in curriculum which thing are not important they also included in it
Internships Opportunities
TCS, Micron,Thomson Rueter, iGate, infosys,TechMahindra are some of the leading software companies visiting the campus regularly. Some other companies, both in public and private sector, like reliance,L &T Engineering, Essar picked up students of this college in campus selections in the past. The placement cell is doing its best to project the institute and to arrange campus selections. Stipend like around 30k they provide
Placement Experience
Placement is very good every year 500-600 students placed in campus placement drive some prefer off campus placement and some prefer higher study. My point of view about placement is like get placement work 1-2 year here then go abroad after taking experience in filed so it will helpful to me in higher study as well as in Job
Fees and Financial Aid
The detailed fee structure is like if you have even sem then your feelings will be like around 1500-1800? if it's odd sem then it will around 900-1200?. And your annual income is less than 6 lakh? then you will get MYSY or Digital Gujarat scholarship and faculty is very helpful
Campus Life
Annual event is very good like hunt-a-thon , IEEE summit, Hackathon etc happened in college. The range of books is very good around 2000-2500 books in Library There is no digital borad but all class has facilities of projecter. Sports and extracurricular activity is very good sports day happened every year in Jan-Feb. Extra activities happened every month Vgec Rocketry club,vgec photography club, book club run by students
Admission
This college is second most famous government college in Gujarat. After LD Engineering College in terms of Faculty Placement Teaching. I should prefer Vgec over LD in curriculum and teaching.in placement Vgec is equal to LD
Faculty
The faculty is highly graduated and the support staff is good the exam structure is like is handled by GTU so they take 2 exam like 30 marks mid exam and 70 marks end sem exam And 20 marks viva and 30 mark submission so total marks will be 150.
Night Life
There is no gym facilities in VGEC but it's available in gtu campus we are allowed to go there by taking permission Hostel timings are like after 11 pm you are not allowed to go out due to reason of safety Gtu garden is famous place to hangout.yes it's safe in night
