Course Curriculum Overview
ECE Curriculum is very relevant to the industry standards. the dept is well equipped with latest technology, labs and all the tools required for practicals. One area where the dept could improve is the way they teach programming languages, i believe programming should be taught with the help of a live compiler. 3rd semester exams are quite tough since this semester is a transition semester. the schedule is quite hectic and time consuming.
Internships Opportunities
Dell: 35,000, Akamai: 35,0000 Schneider Electric visited, BOSCH Visited There are 4-5 startups functioning from the campus, the students get access to grab internship opportunities at those startups as well. I Interned at one of them in my second year of study. I made 4 projects till now. All the projects were a part of my curriculum

Admission
I applied to MSRT, RVCE and BMSCE. I was getting MSRIT as well. But i chose ece, after consulting some of my seniors in BMS. I got a rejection from RVCE ECE, possibly because the cutoff went too up. You can get into BMS through CET, ComedK, or Management.
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is around 1:25. The faculty is friendly and approachble in all aspects, be it academics or extra-curricullar activities. Some of the faculties I really liked in the ECE Dept are Dr. K N Rajanikanth, Dr. Suma MN, Dr. HN Suma. There is one SEE conducted at the end of each semester, prior to which three internals are conducted (best 2 scores are conducted), followed by projects and quizzes for each subject. Most of the students clear the exams. The course curriculum is quite relevant with the industry requirements.
