Tolani Foundation Gandhidham review ( Electrical Department)

I think the curriculum is designed good although there were some problem with the arrangement of subjects with the semester . But these were changed in the new curriculum provided by the GTU for example there is one subject called fundamental of electronics for electrical department in the 3 Rd semester in the previous syllabus but in the new curriculum it is placed in the 1st semester .

My college offers placement at the end of my diploma course which is after 6 th semester. But the college gives us the details of the placements and companies from the beginning of the 5th semester. The average package is around 3 lakh per annum . The companies likes geneus electrotech limited which is present near adipuf kutch Gujarat, some companies from kasez , some companies from welspun , some oil companies located in kandla ( I don't know ithe exact names ) and many other companies from different districts of Gujarat offers jobs to the students of college. I don't exactly know about the other companies as I will continue my studies after completing this diploma course.

My college fees is 52000 rs yearly ( per semester= 26000 rs). I don't have a scholarship as I was born in Andra Pradesh and have a caste certificate of that state which is not eligible for scholarship in Gujarat ( note my caste is OBC). My total fees is 26000 rs per semester in which the tution fees is 26000 rs and the remaining fees like alumni membership fees , ictStCess ,late fee ,early fee ,convenience fee , etc are 0 rupees( note this was mentioned in the e-receipt of my college fees ) .There are some scholarships I know like freeship card which are used by friends. This scholarship is for SC/ST caste. And there is one scholarship which makes the tution fees 0 rupees and it is called TFWS( Tuition fee waiver scheme gujarat).

- There were some programs conducted by the college occasionally like garba celebration, etc . - The library contains large number of booke but most of the books are old and outdated. - The sports events like cricket, relay races , etc are conducted by the college which are really fun .

I luckily got admission in the Tolani Foundation Gandhidham polytechnic although I got addmission in the self finance but it is worth it. I didn't got the government seat as my rank was low . This college is really good compared to the other colleges present in my district and many other colleges in terms of machinery and equipment which is beneficial for the electrical and mechanical students. This college has a good placement of average around 3 lakh per annum which is considered good at the starting at diploma level . The admission process starts with the ranking which is decided upon the total sum of marks obtained in the subjects like English, Maths and Science in the 10th class . Then the college gives its minimum rank which is required to get the seat in the various departments . If you get good rank then you can easily get government seat but if your rank is not that great then you can get the addmission in self finance at the end of the admission round. I got late admission so I got the seat at the end of these rounds by the college.

The relationship between the students and the faculties is really good as these facilities understand the level of their own students and teach them according to it . In my electrical department my favourite teachers are kashyap sir , Manish chawda sir and umang sir . There are very less number of teachers whom I dislike but these teachers are visiting faculties which teached us during my 1st and 2nd semester. There are two exams conducted by my college in which one is mid term which contains 30 marks test and the difficulty of this test is medium and the other test is conducted before the main GTU exam which is conducted randomly from the previous year question paper .

My college operates during the day only which is from 8am to 3:40 pm and it only contains girls hostel. My house is located near the college which is around 6 to 7 km away from the college. I don't know much about this girls hostel of my college as many of my friends live near the college.
