- College campus is small but has one of the finest canteens in colleges among our areas.
- Building is newly built and so are our labs, hence they are well equipped.
- College has quite a few sporting facilities too.
Dislikes
- Students are not from highly educated background as some students are from Gujarati medium too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer is the need of the hours and there was no brain involved but the ratio race that I have chosen this course. The curriculum is excellent as engineering 1st and 2nd year students what they are taught in their degree course is taught to us in diploma. Exams are twice each semester as mid semester we have mid semester exams that is for 30 marks and finals for 70 marks.
Placement Experience
Placements are the best part of our college as nearly 70% of the students are hired by UPL itself and apart from that Ankleshwar is the industrial heart of Asia and therefore no problem with placements. Students who just pass also get placements and that's the best part of our university.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly I have to pay 38000 which is paid in two parts as 19000 per semester. 19000 per semester including all project and lab fees. For reserved students, they are given 30-50% discounts. Gujarat state government has announced merit-based scholarships and students whose parents are working in UPL get direct admissions and fees are also 50% off.
Campus Life
Reva is our annual fest which is held in April and an annual sports day is held in December every year. Apart from that annual feast is organized and students are feeded well. Not many clubs though but coding culture has been established off late and students are free to lead all the society's or start a new society as permissions are granted without any hustle.
Admission
The college is close to my place and plus the job is guaranteed so again no brain involved but it was more to secure a future. I didn't even apply for any other college as I was certain and determined to be admitted here as soon as my schooling is done. The cut-off is around 70% for a diploma in computer engineering.
Faculty
Our computer diploma has 20 odd faculties and a total of 2 batch is of 130 students which is divided into two sections. So the ratio is around 1:6. College may not be that famous but faculties of note has been hired as all are highly educated and have an excellent teaching acumen.
