Benefits of studying at UPL University of Sustainable Technology

The admission process is very smooth at UPL University of Sustainable Technology as the staff is very helpful and supportive. Proper counselling is provided to the students as well as parents which helps them to choose the course in the field of students interest. 100 % placement is provided to students with great future opportunities.

I choose to do M.E in Environmental Management because it is a very interesting course with diverse future opportunities. Faculties are very supportive and their teaching method is very effective as the whole concept of the course is taught to students. All the facilities are having Masters of Engineering (M.E / M.tech) degrees in Environmental Engineering and they are pursuing PhD. The term exams were timely taken and all the notes were provided by the faculties to the students so if we study properly we could surely pass.

Various companies like GFL, BASF, Reliance Industries, UPL Pesticides, etc. provide internships with the role of Trainee Engineer which offers lots of learnings. Various Projects like Designing of Treatment Plants, Commissioning of Treatment Plants, etc are offered and training is given in it.

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like UPL, Alembic, Sun pharma, BEIL Infrastructure Limited, etc. and many other companies visit for campus placement and every year many students are placed in such reputed organizations. The highest packages of 6 Lakhs/Anum and Average packages of 3.5 - 4 Lakhs/Annum are provided with good profiles like Production Officer, Project Officer, Executive Officer, etc. are offered. After my degree, my plans are to work towards the betterment of the Environment in a good organization.

I have done my Bachelor's of Engineering (B.E.) in Environmental Science and Technology from UPL University of Sustainable Technology previously known as Shroff S. R. Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology. In my 7th semester of B.E. only I got a job through campus placement in a reputed organization. Various scholarships are available for students with good grades, students from the Economically lower class, and various other scholarships are there. For M.E. students stipend of 7000 Rs/month is provided.

Reva Fest is conducted in March or April month and Tech Fest is conducted in August or September month every year. All the relevant books of Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and other technical books are available. Non-technical books like journals, novels, etc. are also available in the library. All the required amenities are available in the classrooms like Projector, Projector Screen, BlackBoard, Bulletin Board, Comfortable Benchs and Desks and 5s color coded Lights and Fans. Sports equipment are available as well as Sports day is celebrated in the university with all the different types of games like Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, etc. Extracurricular activities are also been done frequently in the university like various competitions. For students group of Alumni meet groups are made, Rotaract club of SRICT is made, and many other groups are made for students and are run by students.
