Remarks
I applied for Sarvajanik College of Engineering, Surat, and Sad Vidhya Mandal Institute of Technology, Bharuch but choose this college over them due to the better placement facilities provided by the college. I got addmission to the General EWS quota in the home seat. In the year 2020 (when I was admitted to college), the cutoff for ACPC was Rank 16000 or above for General Category and 19000 or above for General EWS category. For a college visit, one can come on any day between Monday To Saturday between 9 am to 5 pm (Excluding public holidays).
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Chemical Engineering course because of its high demand in Ankleshwar Bharuch Region. And placement provided in Chemical Engineering Branch is better than other branches in this college. There are 13 faculty members in the chemical engineering department of which 6 have completed their Ph.D. and 2 are about to complete their Ph.D. in the next 2 years.
Internships Opportunities
College provides internships in the 6th semester from well-known companies. On average companies give a stipend of 15000 per month. Students falling under the eligibility criteria of Training and placement cell get 100% internships.
Placement Experience
Students who fall under the eligibility criteria for Training and placement cell (at college) get 100% placement from the college. The highest package provided here is 5.5 lakh provided by UPL and an average of 2.5 to 3 lakh per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for each course in INR 99000 per year. College provides scholarships in mechanical, electrical, and chemical technology branches also it supports government scholarships like Digital Gujarat and MYSY schemes. Also even after being deemed University the fees of college are the same.
Campus Life
The college has a Rotary club where we can join for various club activities and for refreshment. The College library provides a subject book for 15 days after which we can renew it for further usage. On coming to discipline the college is strict. There is cricket and volleyball ground on campus and also sports day is celebrated once every year.
Hostel Facilities
College provides hostel facility with charges on monthly basis also. For students, the college also provides hostel accommodation on a weekly basis during exam weeks. It charges 18000 per year for a hostel including mess. There is no PG nearby the college and hence you have to live in a hostel only.
