A complete and honest review of Ghandhy College based on my experience

I've chosen this course because of it's future in the Robotics that stood out to me. I'd say it the curriculum doesn't prepare you much for the real world that's needed so you have to do some side up-skilling up on your own. I wouldnt say this course is difficult at all though.

We were recently offered an internship from Reliance Industries for Solar PV panels. The selected people had to go to Ahmedabad for the interview. And if a person get hired, they would work for 3 months with a stipend of ?20,000 including the food, and housing facility. I fear that's the only one we were offered.

After completing the 6th sem, we'll get the offer for campus placement. Atleast 20 companies would come for the best candidates. I plan to pursue this course only, for Bachelors in Degree. I would try scoring top in ddcet in order to get a seat in the government LD college

The tuition fees for one semester is ?700. Jimkhana fee = ?100. The average I pay for the fees of one semester would be less than ?1200, including the tuition and exam registration fees. And we do get sarosh gandhi scholarship for which they give ?2000 per 2 semesters, to each branch's top students from the average of their both the last semester's SPI.

In the starting months like jan, feb, we have sports week. And in the middle months, specific quiz competitions usually takes place. Fun fair is also conducted every 2-3 years. Chess, carrom, table tennis, badminton, kabbadi, cricket are some of the sports played. Basketball and badminton courts are provided in the degree section that can be accessed by diploma students as well.

I applied for this college as my top priority and I got it. To get a admission into this college for diploma, you need a certain amount of passing percentage in 10th. It's very easy to get in, I must say. Atleast for my course.

The faculty are a total of 4 people. They are very approachable without a doubt. Jigar sir, one of the faculty, has the best sense of humour. We have two mid-term exams called CAT-1 & 2. Each of 20 marks, and then we have the main gtu exam.

There were no written test or interview of any sort to get into the college. We just needed a less amount of percentage of 10th. So there was nothing to be prepared for. Some of my batchmates came after doing 12th as well. But the result that was considered was 10th only.

There's no gym. But there are two cafeterias in total. I'd say they are average. We do have a library but it doesn't have that much stock of good books. The area can be easily accessed during early mornings and late nights.
