Remarks

Engineering colleges are not good they degrade mental satisfaction of a healthy being and don't help people in nurturing their talent instead wastes 4 years and in return they get unemployment increased unhappiness among students along with pressure of getting job

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The curriculum is not upto the real life industry expectations and perspective and also getting degraded day by day. Students still believe in rote learning to clear the examination and don't understand the concept. The xourse duration is of 4 years. In engineering we have 8 semesters, 1st & 2nd semester being common for all branches while left 6 semesters are branch specific. Each semester has 6 theory subjects and on each subject 2 CTs of 15 marks and 1 end semester of 70 marks is conducted. Students are graded on a grade point sxale between 1 to 10

Placement Experience

2

In my branch. i.e Biotechnology I have no internship opportunities available while in other branches TPO of thier respective branch calls for the companies and institution, PSUs for training. PSUs generally offer food stipend along with free food and stay

College Events

3

1 mega technical fest named as Avartan (Techfest) 1 cultural event Eclectika (by cultural committee) 1 sports event named as Shaurya 1 singing and music enthusiast events named as Shruti (by Raaga music committee) 1 dramatic event by Rangmanch 1 business event named as Esummit by E-cell

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible for SC/ST/OBC , expensive for general category students. Compared to the fees students have to pay are not at par with the opportunities being provided by the college. Most of the students despite paying so much fees remain unskilled and so unplaced

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not eligible for scholarship due to family income being on higher side. But my fellow batch mates eligible for the scholarship and reimbursement takes the opportunity.Me being and SC category student pay very less fees compared to general category students

Campus Life

3

Labs don't have sufficient instruments atleast for my branch but some branched have excellent lab infrastructure with proper maintenance. Sports facilities are very good, very spacious playground for football, cricket. Campus also have table tennis, Basketball, badminton, gym facilities

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Rooms are good and spacious. Toilets are very less in no. and dirty too Hot water facility is very limited in Winters. Urinals is also very less in no. Mess food is worst of all.Chapatis are very thick a d made of Maida (not Aata)

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good for seeking information on how to prepare for competitive exams, places to go for summer training, etc. Seniors helps us a lot from time to time whenever we juniors are in dilemma.

Admission

I gave the JEE mains examination conducted by CBSE and qualified the cutoff for the same then took part in Counselling being jointly held by JoSAA and secured the seat. Thus got admitted in the NIT Raipur

Faculty

3

Some faculty are very nice, they teach about life and how to deal with real life problems, explains the things in Layman terms everyone in the class understoods the concept while they teach in the class, while some just teach the course for exam but good faculties are few compared to the other one
