Amazing campus beautiful greenery and environment, supporting and encouraging faculty members and students

Fees hike over the last year uninformed and sudden
Placement cell has not been as strong and effective as previously seen due to overall bad market in software and it sectors
Strict rules and junior senior interaction is restricted but it is only for anti ragging

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum for Electronics and Communication is a traditional approach towards electronic subjects like signals and sysstems electronic devices em theory etc and moves to more complet subjects like digital system design vhdls etc ad overall follows a traditional gate syllabus curicullum

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 165000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual tuition fee is Rs165000/- excluding other nominal exam fee and autonomous fees(around Rs 3-5k annually) and scholarship is provided for categories of ews/obc/sc/st on the provision on valid documentation and income proofs the fees has increased from the previously Rs140000/- annually from 2023 to 2024

Campus Life

The college has good sports facilities and amazing club activities with almost 50 active clubs and as a member of a club myself i can assure that the club activites are very satisifactory and a lot of opportunities in all aspects of hobbies and a large array of choices for students to engage in.

Admission

I have chosen CBIT due to its highly reputed status in the telugu states for its high placement status and student culture i had also opten in for alternate options like vnr,vasavi and gokaraju aswell but gave cbit the edge due to the opinion i had about the influence cbit would have on me so i have chosen it over other colleges and my eamcet rank was sufficient to get a seat there

Faculty

Facutly is one to class in ratio for each subject and sufficiently supportive and the classroom is very engaging based on the students intrest on the subject. Department wise faculty is alloted and sujbject wise faculty is also alloted beforehand

Night Life

Cbit used to have an open gate campus earlier but now it is no longer an open gate campus the campus closed by 6:30 so people who play sports leave by 7 at night but the campus at night id really beautiful which we experience in the college cultural fest

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Students aspiring to pursue education abroad are also provided with guidance and support.

Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

College review: Pros, Cons and reality.

Placement Experience:

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The placements in our college are very good the highest package which we got in our college this year is around 18 lpa and the lowest package offered is around 3 to 3.5 lpa and the average package is around 4.5 lpa a lot of companies come to our college to conduct the placement drive as we have campus recruitment training from our first year it makes it a bit easier to face the interview some of the companies that visit our college are mandatory cognizant TCS Accenture Infosys Wipro HCL ADP the placement drive starts when you are in your 4th year 1st semester or at the end of your third year second semester
