Life of a uid student

The curriculum for the first year basically teaches fundamental of designs as well as some basic matireal The exams are conducted as mid term then a basic internal exam right before the final . The exams are moderate in difficulty

As a first year no placements are given to us uptill now and I have only heard of placements given from seniors and faculty.the average package I heard was for 3 lpa .after this degree I hope to get a good job for a year then plan to study abroad for further studies such master in design

Perfect semester 300000 enrollment fee is 5000 examination fee is 2000 the entrance exam fee was also 2000 for other categories it is the same and no other fee was there scholarship as to my knowledge are not provided

Many festivals are held here but the biggest one is kugm which held for navratri for garba many artists are invited to play songs on these days the event goes on for 5 days.library has many books and journals for design and other things taught at ku

The room has an ac , tv and fridge the rooms are ok and spacious . The mess food is bas but better than other messes of diffrent collages , the menu changes every month The fee is about 120000 The registration process starts as soon as you get an email about you getting an admission and if you wanna opt for the hostel or not

I chose uid because of its high level infrastructure and amenities.the faculty was also highly qualified which made it my 3rd preference right behind nid and uceed unfortunately due to circumstances I wast able to prepare a lot before the nid and uceed exams thus did not get in .I got a confirmed admission from iiad which was my fail safe in case my portfolio was not up to par the uid standerds

The faculty to student ratio is about 26 to 1 the faculty is very approachable give independent time to help you in you work Ravi sir is one of the best faculties as he is very sociable Vivek sir is very strict and sometimes very friendly Theek are in a semester 4 exams 2 mid terms , a half yearly and a end sem

There is a newly renovated gym and there are three main canteen inside the campus namly anti clock (the biggest)clockwise (smaller) and container (smallest). After classes students ussaly go around to Danny which is a pool parlour about 1 mins away and for food there are small places near the campus. Famous hangout spots are lala and qfc
