Remarks
Placements are awesome, keep it up. However, try to bring higher end companies with even higher packages as well. Good infrastructure, again, keep it up. But try and reduce the fees. Take in less number of students, and focus more on research work, alread

Course Curriculum Overview
Because ours was the first batch, and it was a private university, the course was unexpected and different from other universities. We had a trimester system, which meant more courses and more exams in less amount of time. This meant, it was more challenging for us. However, because the duration was less, we were not able to completely familiarize with the subject and often the mester ended before we had the time to go in deep.
Internships Opportunities
Companies didn't come to our college for internship offers. We as students had to search for internship programs on our own. However, our faculty gave us a list of a few companies or fields we should look into for our internship.
Placement Experience
Our being the first batch and the number of students in only computers field being more than 600, we were always skeptical of our placement opportunities. We thought that it would be great if only a half of the students will be placed by the end of the college. But the administration surprised all of us, and there were loads and loads of companies approaching our university to get students placed. Even after the graduation was completed, companies were still being called, and students were getting placed. I, personally got placed the following year in February after my graduation was done.
College Events
There's freshers, farewell parties being thrown by student and admin combined and proper DJ's and preparation are done for the same. Once in the year there is a big fest, where all aspects like tech, cultural etc are covered, where competitions on various subjects are done, a singer celeb is called etc. Outsiders however were not allowed at the time, It might have changed by now.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have heard that our university provides certain amount of scholarships to students. I don't think it would be 100% though, could be around 50% from exceptional or poor students.I didn't avail any loan, neither did I get any scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus life was good. Gender ratio being 45% girls -55% boys for computer subject. It was pretty diverse, with students coming from punjab, chandigarh, himachal, odissa etc. And there was not any discimination of any kind as far as I know. The labs were well maintained, enough for students to learn basics that they need to know. Sports are also a good part of campus, with almost all kinds of basic sports available in campus with proper courts etc. Competitions are held at regular basis at maybe 3-4 months intervals, where robotics, debates etc are all covered under them.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels, mess food is all pretty good. With AC's, study tables, washrooms, as provided along with the room. However, Fees for the hostel is pretty high when compared to other colleges. Mess food charges are nominal and at par with others.Hostel : 8/10Food
Alumni/Alumna
Most of the alumni are well settled by now, and are in big reputed companies, and some are now even promoted to senior or lead engineer level by now. But we can't exactly say that they are in top most companies or at best positions. Some are pursuing higher education abroad, hopefully will bring more laurels. Some have turned entrepreneurs as well.
Faculty
The faculty was good, but only knew, what they were supposed to know about the course, not much. Not that the students asked for more anyways. One teacher had to teach more than one subject, but as it was related to computers, it all worked out.
