Likes

Our campus is located in a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and trees
Infrastructure is good and faculty are also top notch
Placement service is also ok and good ratio of boys and girls around 8:7

Dislikes

Our college is overcrowded and there are very small grounds
I need to travel a total of 40 km for my college
Time consuming for us to travel it takes around 3 hours

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing Btech in CS because I want to be a good software engineer I got influenced from my uncle who is currently working as a software engineer the areas of improvement which I want is improving my DSA skill

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intership is provided by many companies in our college like Google Amazon jp morgan etc and they offer a quite decent package averaging about 400000 for 3-4 months which is very good and I have made projects in machine learning and web development

Placement Experience

From 7 semester students became eligible for campus placement and the companies which visited our campus are amazon accenture cognizant etc .highest package is 480000 and average package is 500000 around 60 % get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees which I pay is near about 130000 where 43000 is tution fee registration fee is 1500 caution fee is 1500 admission fee onetime is 15000 development fee is 1200 lab fee is 2000 examination fee is 5000 and the scholarship which I got on the basis of 12th marks is 23000.. Taking about my batchmate who is pursuing BCA pays nearly about 85000 per year fee

Campus Life

My campus life is good and there are many clubs which I have joined such as NSS club NCC and many more the sports and extracurricular activities happens every 1 months and we have a ERP student portal system so it is decent

Admission

I applied for gehu bhimtal because it is most nearest to my house and it has got some decent placements over a period of time the admission process was I submitted my documents and pay a admission fee to them ..

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good and the relationship of students among teachers is quite good one faculty I like the most is ravindra koranga sir he is a top notch teacher there are overall 2 exams in a semester mid and end

Interview Experience

No I didn't face any group discussion and gd task or written test it was all done by seeing my class 12 marks and I got the admission in the college and it was quite good experience to get admission in gehu

Night Life

Yes our college has got gym and cafeteria which are decent and we have got a library which is also decent hostel timing for night is 8 pm we need to enter the hostel and famous hangout places is sattaal and bhimtal .

RIT ROORKEE - A great choice for education

Likes

i like the teaching methodology of the professors
the environment of the college is very positive
each & every faculty member are very helpfull

Dislikes

city area is small, but there is many things to explore
college is very strict about attendance but it makes you punctual
you will get limited opportunity but that are excellent

Placement Experience:

There is a separate & totally dedicated Traning & placement cell. In all branches they are providing excellence placement opportunities. in the last year of my btech, approx 50+ companies visited with great packages.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

I really like the nature view from the campus.

Dislikes

I dont like the college timetable as i have 6 hours of classes and 3 hours of break in between which kills alot of time.

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like samsung, infosys, IBM have offered placements. Talking about my plan i have an idea to start after my degree or maybe experience of a couple of years.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

A overall overview of college in term of my thinking.

Likes

College faculty is quite supportive in term of working.
College atmosphere for study is good for students.
College social interaction and certain society are good for overall improvement of students.

Dislikes

College placement does satisfy the required term.
Some college professor are not supporting in certain circumstances.
Infrastructure is quite old as per new baches for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum of colleges influenced by some professor that include something to the world that include in the current term. Improvement thst include the teaching method and the term of it and the frequency and timing of exam along prospective of the difficulty level is more.

Campus environment and infrastructure is good.
The college fees in so affordable for bachelor degree.
Faculty and staff is quite supportive and so interacting.

Dislikes

Fines were taken by the campus on each and every smalls things.
Many restrictions were put on the students.
Library of the college ony having the books related to course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after 5th semester. Many companies visit to the campus for placement of students and hire them at good packages. The highest placement is of 84 LPA and the average package is around 5LPA. 96% of students got placed in companies.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course.
