NITC Review Complete

NITC is the first main stream engineering college that started to teach core subjects from first sem itself in accordance with NEP 20,We are the first batch that started this.Since I am a computer science student ,I dont need to study engineering mechanics or chemistry or anything.We learn computer science courses in the first sem itself.This curriculum is actually be very helpul for our placements,since we get hands on experience in early semesters.NITC also offers 9 minor degree courses pof which students can slect whatever they wish for.This will help in giving interdisciplinary knowledge for students.Minors are allotted with respect tho theirs CGPA

From S7 itself students start getting placed.From S5 students get internships ,and then excellent of those students get PPO s from that companies. 208 companies visited NITC last year.1080 offers were made for 2025 graduants,187 internship for offered.out of the 1080 ,736 were for for UGs 344 for for PG.out of 862 UG students registered there were 736 offers made , percentage 85.38... max salary for UG is 50.64 LPA ,avg Salary is 12.41,median Salary is 9 LPA...for PGs 65.77 perecntage offers were made 523 studnets ..max salary offered was 39.27 LPA and avg Salary is 11.41 ,median Salary is 10.Computer science got 96.77 percentage.Larsen and Toubro is the company made most offers with 61 offers.Baja Auto and Chetak limited made 19 offers, Amdocs made 21 offers .Adani group 12,Aditya BIRLA 11,Accenture A,mazon ,BEL ,Caterpillar also made offers

there is a tuition fee of 1,25,000 for GEN,OBC, and EWS students with income greater than 5 lakhs.if yu=our income is in between 1 to 5 lakhs,tuition fee of yearly 41,667.if your income is lesss than 1 lakh or for SC,ST,PwD there is no tuition fee. and an additional 20 thousand for odd semesters and 13,000 for even semesters as extra bills.there is a onetime fee pf 53,000 also.We also pay a fee of 13,000 per sem for hostels plus 20,000 advance to mess bills at the start of each sem

We conduct South India's largest Annual College Cultural fest which is RAGAM typically in April,but Ragam 25 will be in february.Also our Annual Techno management fest TATHVA generally in october,Archies Conduct ADIZYA,and MANAGEMENT students conduct TARANG.Our library is a very large facility but students go there during exams only. There are enough facilities in our college but few studnts know about all the facilities so it isnot much accessible.NITC focus very much in sports and extra curricular activities.and regularly maintain teams for each sports for the ALL INDIA INTER NIT tournaments.There are a lot of technical clubs and Cultural clubs in the college.Eg for technical clubs include UNWIRED ,AEROUNWIRED ,RIG etc and Cultural clubs like ICA,TAC,CM etc..There are several hometeams showcasing each artforms,they go for competetions to other colleges as well

Hostels are actually pretty decent but the rent is very much.Also the food is very good but agian mes rate is very high,it is 138 rs per day and now they are planning to increase it suddenly to 160.Meals are good quality foods too.There will be extras you can buy which u can pay with your hostel wallet .You need to credit 20,000 rupees in your mess wallet which will be deducted each month .First year hostels are 3 person sharing and second and thirs years get 2 person sharing rooms.PG students ad fourth years can choose from single sharing or double sharing.

I Joined NITC by writing JEE Mains.I also qualified JEE Advanced but didnt get enough ranks to get admission in IIT computer scinece course..The main reason i joined NITC is because i got CSE here.and the placements for CSE at NITC is better for core branches in IITs.Also I am from kerala ,so NITC is nearest to my house.To get into NIT you need to get a good rank in JEE mains.I got CSE here with a rank of OBC 3000 .MY JEE Advanced rank was around 5000 so i would nt get a good course in IITs

We have very intelligent faculties but not everyone likes to share their knowledge to students that easily.In other cases,some faculties genuinely will care about you.Each class of 50 is handled by a faculty at a time,sometimes these faculties take combined classes,so then the class strength would be 100.each student is assigned a Faculty advisor,they are the first point of contacts of all students everything goes through them only.they regularly assess the students.I personally like my FA ,Saleena Maam.She is a Professor at CSED.Some Facluties act very nice and polite but they wont give you any fgrades in exams,even if you score well your grades would be less.very faculties on other hand rewards you with good grades.

NITC Campus is very vast,so there are a lot of hangout spots inside and around the campus.there are a lot of cafes also around the campus.Hostel and campus have a curfew only after 12:00 but that too isnt strictly kept in boys hostels.The campus and sorroundings is actually very safe for girls.but for girls hostels they sometime amintain the timings correctly.first sem students usually have acurfew in the start then it will shift to 12 gradually.
