Likes

Gives good placement opportunities and also internship opportunities
Transportation services in the college to travel from hostel to lecture halls
No restrictions in the college we can roam 24/7 in the college

Dislikes

The ratio of each boy east girl is 5:1 huge competition
The temperature is very low in winters and it is also hot 🥵 in summer

I have choose the course in terms of the college The older the college the placement opportunities are more. The exams are difficult As a average student it is more difficult to maintain CGPA as it has relative grading

I had talk to my senior he got a internship in Microsoft with a stipend of 1 lakh Most of the students get internship with good stipend some students also get offers from foreign companies The work is based on us for what we had qualifed

Placement Experience

In the 4th year 1st semester we can eligible to give campus placements. More than 150 companies around 800 offers are got. Minimum of 7.5 CGPA is required to give ean interview for any company The highest package is around 2.1 crore but don't know about the company haired

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee 100000/- per semester Hostel fee 50000/- per semester For SC and ST no Tution fee Scholarship named National scholarship portal approx of 80000 And for SC andST their is free messing option is also applicable The fee is increasing yearly not more by 5 to 6 k.

Campus Life

The infrastructure iowned my heart The Library have around 25 to 35 k books Classrooms have both AC and fans with nice furniture Around 15 games and their respected grounds are available . Every semester has a fest like Thomson in 1st semester and Technical fest in second semester Their are 20 to 25 clubs

Hostel Facilities

Every one has provided one study table and a chair on the basis of our branch we get our roomates cse students get single rooms The food is ok not bad The breakfast tastes good but the chicken tastes wrost Monthly one special dinner which is worst than normal dinner

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I chose IIT ROORKEE because of its prestigious reputation As you now the IITs are more reputed . No I not get any rejection from other colleges . You have to qualify in jee mains and you also have to qualify in jee advanced exam approx 5000 Air rank in jee advanced exam

Faculty

The relationship between the faculty and students is not much good but it's just ok they just come and teach you . The college have relative grading . We have 1 mid term exam and one exam at the end of the semester . I like every faculty. No one behaves rude

Night Life

Yes their is the facility of gym in every hostel and also an central gym for all college students Their is no closing and opening time of hostel but the timings of library is 6 am to 12 am. 24/7 the college is safe for both girls and boys . Student activity center is the best hangout place in the College. The streets are lighted with red bulbs

My college review

Placement Experience:

Stuiarw eligible for placement from 6th semester . There are so many companies visited such as wipro, Deloitte, hcl, tech Mahindra, TCS, and many more. Highest package of BTech is 1.24 cr and average package is 40000. Percentage of students get placed is 60%. My plan after degree is to get an good it job.

GEU is an adventure!

Placement Experience:

Room for placements can't be better than GEU. As our department which isn't much in demand and still over 80% of placements rate itself is a story worth telling. I am so glad that it is happening and this is the reason I feel so good studying here as I can't do more as placements care are taken by the university very well.

GEU is super amazing!

Placement Experience:

It's in the final year as once the final year begins, students are asked to pull their socks up and go limitless as nearly 100 or rather much more are there at the campus and interest in CSE students is the highest. Also, there's a large section of IT students who are placed from GEU every year and that too without much of an effort.

Versatile college with good RoI

Placement Experience:

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

GEU is a world class place to study!

Placement Experience:

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. IIT ROORKEE in a nut-shell

As we know IIT ROORKEE is one of the oldest engineering college in while asia and has a very good alumini connection and placement record so i chose it and it is also closer to my home. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
