Dislikes

mess food is very bad no non veg option ,only chicken is avaible
worst electricity ,always powercutss ,one time nearly 4 hrs powercut
i think mess food and electricity ids yhe issues

Course Curriculum Overview

for 1st year as a cse student in 1st sem biology is also there , chemistry, physics,maths , cs101 are the courses ,physics is objective , chemistry is organic ,inorganic m,physical ,maths is somewhat different

Fees and Financial Aid

as a obc category student i had no scholarship due to not elegible for income creteria , in first semseter i paid around 1.35 lakh + 35000 for seat conformation , in second semester i not yet paid , they hasnt informed complete data about it ,for registration we have to nearly 50000

Campus Life

they are more clubs to explore any club requires at least 20 members to create each club in my campus there are robotics ,crickey t,astromy ,dances , music, coding club u can jin any club you want i joinedc 3 clubs

Admission

cse is my first preference i appled all iits with cse , due to my obs rank i got iit goa iit palkaad iit jammu iit bhilai cse ,but in my preference i check previous year ranks , i did not keep iit goa above dharwad because iit goa did not has permanent campus

Faculty

for 1st year they divide two sections s1 and sw2 with 160 students each ,i dont know much about faculty student ratio but they are more faculty members ,they are a1 and a2 blocks office rooms to talk with them

Night Life

canteen upto 3 am last order 2.30 am ... i dont know about gym ,indoor complex but they open morning ,i dont know closing time,library is 24 open , are is peaceful,pleasent ,hostel you can roam near it biut sakes are there

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements since 3rd semester only if they possess extremely high talent, otherwise, most students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester of engineering. Many companies such as societe general, microland, deloitte, capgemini, keep visiting our campus on a yearly basis. Usually the packages vary from 5-20 lakhs. My plan after degree is to get placed in a good enough company that satifies my necessities

Remarks:

Their in No negative remarks In Reva University all the facility is good. Transportation is also good so that student can travel to their destination easily. Placement is also good. Infrastructure is üëå campus is full of greenery once we enter in to the campus we can feel we are taking fresh air

I applied for CSE and MnC branches of all the 1st and 2nd gen IITs along with the 3rd gen IITs, my rank was about 4.8k so I knew I could get CSE only in the 3rd gen IITs out of which I felt IIT Dharwad was the best. My main reason for choosing IIT Dharwad was CSE, also that it was mentored by IIT Bombay, so the syllabus is quite tried and tested, also Dharwad is near to the tech hubs of the country like bengaluru, pune, mumbai, hyderabad which is good for someone who is really passionate about CSE. The admission process here is same as all other IITs, clear JEE Advanced exam and apply for JoSAA counseling to be admitted to this Institute....Read More

IIT Dharwad is new but not forever..

The college comes within the list the prestigious colleges 'IITs' and that is the major reason to choose this college and not any other with my rank in jee advance. all you need to do is clear jee advance with a minimum rank of 16-17k to get entered and for computer science it is around 4-5k.
