Good internship and placement facilities

I chose this course Btech in ECE (ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION) as it has two lines core(hardware) and IT(software) line. One can select any two of these lines according to their choices and interests.

Many projects opportunities come here as i came to know about from my seniors. Also , many internships opportunities come some of which may be stipened one also. Many companies come in our college such as accenture, cognizant , etc.. Cognizant recently provided us with a workshop named stepping stone

The college placements are better . But due to recession period there is some disturbances in the placement, there is more placements occurring in mechanical, and civil branches now. I am basically studying in a branch which can provide me with both hardware and software jobs. But my main focus is to gain software jobs in companies such as accemtire, capegimini, cognizant, etc. I found out my seniors also had got placed in good companies

The total course fee including hostel was 7,79,450,when i took admission in 2023.There was an increase in fee from the 2nd semester and now the total course fees I have to pay after the fee hike is around 8.30 lakhs including hostel fees. The main thing that happened is now the college got autonomous now... We can avail many scholarships like the Swami Vivekananda(SVMCM) scholarship for West bengal students. The education quality is moderate here, and placements are also moderate. Proper internships start coming from the 3rd year.

Being a hosteller life here is not so boring, we spend good times with roomates and have helpful seniors also. We have the cultural club, the tech clubs such as cyber sleuths a club for coding and ethical hacking, we have idea labs and innovation labs, also we have a boys and girls gym in campus .. A big field ,baskteball court,karate ,with sports blasts occurring every year

The hostel facilities are good. We have four members living in each room, four tubelights are there for each two fans, four cupboards, beddings are provided for each. We are provided meals four times a day, at the morning at around 8.30 am , the the lunch at 1 pm, the evening snack at 6 pm and the dinner at 9 pm. The menu are good and healthy, also tasty items are included, we have a common bathroom where we have 8 seprate washroom for bathing and for washroom purpose each 4

I chose this college over other colleges mainly because I came to know about its placements. I found out that my college provides good placement than any other colleges i had opted for in the selection round after the WBJEE results

Faculty members a better. Some of the teachers are very good and helpful, they have good knowledge and also are good degree holders. College comducts four internal exams and submits the marks to makaut(ca1,ca2,ca3,ca4) of 25 marks each and 5 marks for attendance so 30 marks intotal and a theory paper that comes from MAKAUT of 70 marks, so 70+30=100 here Practical internals are also conducted(pca1,pca2) of 40 marks (including lab attendance, lab file maintanance) 60+40=100 And a main practical is conducted of 60 marks

So we have two girls hostel The Nivedita Girls hostel for 1st and 4th year, and the Mother Teresa Girls hostel for 2,3 year students. The out timings are not that much specific but the in time is specific and strict, we have to get in by sharp 8pm.also we have to take permission of the warden and take an outpass during leave, we are allowed a leave only one time a day. We have a field where lot of activities go on like we are taught karate, basketball and all kinds of sports, we have a seperate boys amd girls gym.. And a evening walk in the campus is relaxing, we also have a loknath mandir in the campus
