Course Curriculum Overview

4

Electrical course is known to be the base course for everything, that was the reason for choosing this course. We can do house works that are done by electricians and also helps us get placed in government jobs Syllabus can be a little tough at times KTU university doesn't allott much time for a sem That is a real burden on students

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are not provided here that much All we can do is to find companies for internship The college just provides us with the permission to attend it Projects are done during the final year But our college has also participated in national level and won

Placement Experience

2

Placements starts after the 7th sem Companies like walkaro visits us But still overall placements taking place in the college is low Only 20 % students get placed I wish on to pursue higher education after the course

Campus Life

3

We conduct a yearly arts fest called Daksha And tech fest called INVENTO in two years gap Books and journals are abundant Sports in general are a little lower Clubs of various ideas are here including a fashion club

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities by the college are limited But the meals provided there is satisfactory And private hostels are also there I personally live in a private hostel We eat outside from local restaurants

Admission

I had applied to CET but I was unable to get into that college due to reasons regarding my lower score in the entrance exam. I should have performed better in the entrance exam. But still my college is a government college and it also has its perks

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is average. The relationship varies, there are some teachers we absolutely love, but there are also others who does not show much support. We loved Shafeeque sir , he was onboard of our ideas and also was a really cool teacher to have. There are 2 internal exams and 1 final year exam Pass percentage is average as well

Night Life

3

Our college goes dead at the night Apart from college events Night life doesn't exist here But still Hostel friends make the night life worthwhile We have areas called almaram Sports complex where students gather

Other Applied Colleges

College of Engineering | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I was unable to gain admission as I had lower ranking in entrance exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
