Government Engineering College Sreekrishnapuram a review by student

The current running 2019 scheme is very bad as it concentrate more on theory and less practical application while practice is needed for outer world. One internship and final project is necessary while for CS batch mini projects are also needed.

Rs 8000/- is paid semester wise and as I am general category student I don't get any reduction for fees while for OBC and SC,ST students there are scholarships like egrantz. This course is affordable for all.

Campus life is ok. Not that much entertaining as every fest happens between exams which makes it frustrating some times. There are different clubs like dance, music, chess, sports which has High participations and they also participate in inter College or intra college competitions

Hostel facility is good in college LH ( ladies hostel) than men's hostel. They get good food and facilities like library study area etcs. Admission in those hostels are little bit difficult as there are only 150 seats available in the hostel. Other students stays at private hostel whose accomodation are quite good but food is really bad

This college was much better than previously applied college even though that was also government college but as it is situated at a hilly area it creates transportation and health problems. While no such problems are faced here and fees structure is also affordable

Facilities are less and students are more, placements are less compared to last year and teaching methods are poor. Facilities doesn't give sufficient materials to study during exams often have to relay on internet or external sources rather than teachers. Exams are not that tough but valuation is poor.

Library are available till 9PM in the college and campus itself isn't available 24 hours, hostel curfew time is also around 7pm here that makes 24 hours availability of college difficult but still during special events or fests college is 24 hours available.
