Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is not par with the industry standards. That is the story of almost all engineering colleges across India. One has to learn the softwares required and other skills on their own. Exams are doable but need some reading and understanding ofcourse.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hello, the year wise fees I paid was around 50k which in total came uoto 70k. I joined through comedk exam. The fees for cet is almost 40k. If a person has category, then the fees can be as low as 1k per year. Scholarships are available for students with reservation.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is amazing. The library is well equipped and has plenty of books and reading area. There are a dozen student bodies like: 1. Make in BVB (entreprenural body) 2. KLE media (photography and videography) 3. KLE Drama club 4. Dance club 5. Wordswroth Club (quizzes, debates, poetry and open mic) 6. Motorsports
Admission
I had applied in BMS College, Bengaluru and there were high chances I would have got the admission. But I chose KLE Tech because when I comapred the placement, I found both the colleges pretty similar in that aspect. When it comes to exposure and startup ecosystem, I found KLE better. Students can either write CET or COMEDk or get a management seat. The cutoff is about 10 thousand rank for both the exams.
Faculty
The faculty to students relationship is pretty decent. Not too good nor too vad. The curriculum is challenging and doable. Each academic year has two semesters. Each semester has about 5 to 6 subjects and project.
Night Life
There is no much night life. The ladies hostel closes around 7.30 pm. There is plenty of freedom for the boys. There are a plenty cafes, lakes and hills nearby to explore like: 1. Devaragudihal lake 2. Cubix 3. Cafe koppas 4. plenty of street food and chai shops 5. Hans
