Likes

The environment of college nature is so beautiful it's very attractive with full of green.
The college campus is very big , and a well maintained cricket ground
The canteen is quite good & the food also good

Dislikes

The lectures doesn't support students to participate in other activities
Their is no proper transportation for college
Their is no proper placement for the students

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was not so good. They doesn't teach us about the real world applications it's too outdated. They have to teach more about the vlsi, ai and other modern technologies. The exam timings is 3 hours as usual it's enough for students

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year we have to pay 2 lakh . There is no additional fees for exam fees you had to 2000 for every semester. And we get a scholarship of 18k per year if you joined from CET . Id you are management then u don't get any scholarships as per now rule.

Campus Life

When it comes to college life , I doesn't enjoyed a lot due to lack of college functions . The library is very good and we can all books. The faculties are also good . They doesn't pro6sports & other activities

Admission

As my cet rank is quite low , I can't afford the best college so I joined this college because it was a autonomous college. The admission process is very simple there is eligibility criteria u just pass 12th class. If u have money You can join easily

Faculty

The relationship between the students and lectures is good with some lectures. Our HOD is not good they don't know how to speak with the students. For every semester their will be 5 to 6 subjects in that 2 will be very tough.

Night Life

Gym is also their & it was quite small and their are very less number of instruments. The hostel was quite big & so maintained but the food taste is not good. But we can't hangout at nights it's very strict

Best Kept Secret

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for this year is the updated one. Its 2025 Scheme for the students. The curriculum is well designed according to the needs of CSE students for real life coding. The curriculum contains all required and updated topics which students from CSE background require to develop excellent skills for jobs and startups. There should be only one internal exam instead of two. Because, two internal exams tend to keep them involved more into college exams leaving very less time to build their extra skills. Thus there should be only one internal exam so that students can build their extra skills.

id rate the curriculum 8.5/10 .Core subjects influenced my choices and this course gives good fundaments for jobs and more for higher studies, Exams are semester wise with internals , little bit tougher but its is easy managable

MIT Manipal's Student Plaza is amazing!

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, college starts to prepare you for campus placements the final year students are eligible for placements. Number of companies visited the campus named TCS, Jspiders/Qspisers and Kodnest. The highest package got in the placement is 9lpa and average package is 3.5lpa offered by the companies. 40% of students got placed. My views on GAT

As my comedk rank was around 25k and most colleges in this area were under VTU I wanted an autonomous college and GAT was the one If you wanna get into the CSE branch a comedk rank between 20-35k would do Our college accepts CET AND COMEDK I got ISE at SJBIT and CSE at DBIT and I still chose this over those colleges as GAT is autonomous...Read More
