Likes

Permanent Faculty here are very good , and are all phd holders , they are also having lot of experience and knowledge so this is the one thing I liked about about this college much , friendly faculty they don't ignore you at any cost .
Lush green campus , with good atmosphere
Classes are all provided with cc cameras , projectors and comfortable sitting facility

Dislikes

The guest faculty here are bit careless , not so good
We should be aware of snakes in this campus
It's on the hill top so transportation might be bit difficult

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good only , since I am in a first year not so sure about it , but yeh here students are free to attend hackathons games etc , college supports students in the field of technology and also spread awareness about things like drug , cybercrime .

Internships Opportunities

Since I am a first year student I don't know much about internships , it will be provided from your 4th year onwards, the companies like TCS , INFOYSIS etc visited here still more companies have also visited but I am not sure about it

Placement Experience

From 7 semister , onwards placements starts I guess , I don't have much idea about the which companies visited here and all yeh the placement here is not bad I guess , if you are skilled then definitely you will be placed , I also depends on one's knowledge and skills more than the college

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for kcet entry students will be 118000 and the additional fees will be 15000 from the college , for comed k entry students it will be around 250000 annually , not so sure about the management quota students it might me 600000 annually, not sure . Opportunity to avail SSP scholarship is being provided in this college .

Campus Life

Actually they do festival such as ganesh chaturthi, vtu fest and normal other programs including auto show , library is very vast and polite with all the books we need, faculty supports sports and culture a lot and we even have clubs for that

Hostel Facilities

Over all hostel good lunch and dinner is fine compared breakfast, provides non veg weekly once , it's affordable not so expensive, rooms are provided with good fan , cupboard, study table etc , 24/7 power supply along with lift facility

Hostel Fee: INR 115000 per year

Admission

No I didn't get any rejection, the admission process here is simple and not so complicated the staff are cooperative , to get into this college , you need to write kcet or comed k , eligibility is based on your kcet rank

Faculty

Faculty is quite in a normal ratio, no shortage I guess , but the problem is with number of classrooms here are not enough, due to more number of students intake this year , there will be 3 internal exams and SEE after that , along with that we have lab internals.

Night Life

It's nice with a mini gym inside and also we have vast playground we have basket ball court , volly ball court,cricket ground , canteen which is not so good but ok , hostel is very huge and provides safety to students inside , no any issues are happened till today

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I applied to this college because it was decent before. But our seniors ruined the reputation for us. This was the only college is chose. You can get into college through cet comedk and management. But management is not worth for this college. The eligibility is to take pcmc/pcmb in 12th grade. Most preferably it is cet and comedk. The cut off's are within 40k and 20k....Read More
