Course Curriculum Overview
My course curriculum which is BBA in Tourism and Travel Management is very nice. the fee structure, the studies and everything plus the faculties too are very nice. You get basic knowledge about tourism sectors like aviation, events and all other things related to business. It's the same as other business courses like BBA in strategic business and analytics or bba in finance and economics etc. They offer the same subjects but the course fees is higher than that of BBA in tourism and travel management. So I feel TOURISM is much better than any of the courses available.
Placement Experience
There are campus placements . the placements are good because after bba only you get packages starting from 4 lakh to 24 lakh. The average is 6 lakh. It has one of the best packages for business students .For the next year oy from now onwards more than 50 students have been placed in very good companies like DE Shaw, Ditto Insurance, Deloitte, Zomato and many banks and travel companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees was 100000 per year. It is a three year course. This year the fees is 105000. It is increasing by 5000 every year. It is one of the cheapest and best course in our college. Subjects are same as other courses for BBA. Students from Karnataka get to pay less fees. For scholarships, Banks scholarship come from 2nd year you can apply in it. In the 1st year no scholarship is there. Then according to your gpa meriorious scholarships are given. So try performing good in exams.
Campus Life
The people are very social and everyone is open to talk and having a mindful conversation. There are fests like Lumiere conducted by MBA Batch. CUSBMA is a business club which conducts business fests on a very big level. PATA conducts fests on an international level. PATA is the one student chapter in Asia. There are sports activities like basketball, football, foosball, cricket, chess, table tennis , carrom etc. Many matches are championships are played all around the year.
Admission
Frankly speaking, I didn't apply in any of the colleges. This was the best college for bba in tourism and travel management so i though why not. Plus the location, the city, the infrastructure i love everything about the college. So yeah this was the best place for me. Among private colleges, this college will be the best option for you but if you want government colleges DU is good. But i feel for exposure and practical knowledge one should come to Christ. It has a class, good people from good families and a bunch of discipline and knowledge.
Faculty
the faculties of our college are really nice especially of my department. they are very helpful and help you with a lot of personal and professional things. love the aura and vibe of the faculties. They are like family to me. Faculties do not distinguish anyone and help you a lot in getting internships and during placements. They do the best they can like making use of their outdoor connections for you etc. There are 2 semester in a year and during one semester there are two exams - midsem and endsem. So like four exams in a year.
Night Life
Nightlife is good around the area of our college Christ University. There is a gym in our campus and the fees is also very low compared to other gyms around bangalore. The fees is just 500 for a month. We have 3-4 canteens in our college you can buy and eat whatever you want. We have library in our college. you can get any study material from there for 13 days you can study in the library till 9 at night. We have two auditoriums in our campus. Famous hangout places near the university are cafés and simar lane.
