Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects here are nice but not that informative. Most of the things we already know, but are taught in a professional way with professional words. The course is mostly designed for corporate training. The course could be made more practical than theory. There are 4 exams in a year. 2 per semester. Exams are for 2hrs, 50marks. Moderately difficult, most of us only start studying one night before
Internships Opportunities
The companies coming for internship were Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, McKinsey, DEShaw. The roles offered were finance intern, operations intern, etc. The stipend were 10K per month mostly for 2 months. They also provided PPO
Placement Experience
Only 25% of the students want placements. Big4, Zomato, SAP, Tribehive, etc come for placements for avg 7lpa. The highest was by DEShaw 22.5LPA. Most of the students plan to join family business, startup, or higher education
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees is 195000 per year and it is a 3 yr course. It is completely tution fees. 5000 was the admission fees. For foreign students, the fees is 360000. But they get scholarships of upto 30% easily.
Campus Life
Esprit (Jan), Vistas (Sep), Thrive (Feb), Innovawe (Dec), are the major fests. There are a lot and lot of resources in library both online and offline Classrooms are equipped with projector and speaker. There are 5 playgrounds for sports. Many clubs managed by students in Marketing, HR, Finance, etc
Admission
I didn't apply for any other college, this was my first entrance test and I cleared it. The process is, first filling the application, then aptitude test then Personal Interview and Micro Presentation
Faculty
The students to teacher ratio is 1:20. The faculty is selectively reachable. The faculties I liked are Kiran Vazirani, Shruti Srinivasan, Surekha Nayak. They are very supportive. The faculties I didn't like are Sunanda Vincent Jaiwant and Radha Yadav because of their arrogant nature. There are 2 exams every semester. Mid sem and end sem. They are moderately difficult. Only a few fail them.
Interview Experience
There was only an online interview due to Covid. In the interview they tried to test if I matched the vibe of Christ. In the interview I also had a micro presentation in which I had to give an extempore speech
Night Life
The place SG Palya is very lively. Shops are open till 12AM. People roam around till 3AM. In campus Birds Park is a good place. Outside campus we have a lot of options. Campus timings are 6.30AM till 9.00PM
