Likes

Mess fode is very good and tasty specially chili potato
The students over here have a good mindset and behaviour
The teching style of the teacher are every good except pps teacher Nicky

Dislikes

No open gates you have to get gate pass signed by class teacher
Not a clean campus garbage everywhere in ground
It is a very small campus as compared with other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose AI AND DS course because of it's heavy demand in compan. The curriculum according to me is not good . They should remove the subject which are not relevant to the course I am doing . The exam schedule for sectional are also very bad 2 exam on a single day

I don't know much about this as I am of 1 st year but I saw posters in campus claiming that Google Microsoft Deloitte Amazon Tata consultancy services HCL jinda steel visited. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good package at and mnc

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fees for btech AI & DS is ?149000 per year and it is fixed for 4 years and yes they provide scholarship for that you have to give Piet quest held every year in the month of November - December

Campus Life

They host carbuncle every year as an freshers party . There are lots of books and daily newspapers available in library. The classro are also very good of G block as all the classes have touch led . The sports scope in this college is low

Admission

I applied for SRM Sonipat and Chandigarh University and I got accepted in both of the college but I choose PIET because it was close to my home . The admission criteria is very simple just pay the fees

Faculty

Most of the faculty here are very good and friendly till now according to my experience except that PPS teacher Miss Nicky who is very rude. There are 3 sectional exams in every semester and a semester exam after each semester I have attempted 2 sectional and they are of medium level

Night Life

The college do have a gym but is is only for hostlers . They also have a Nescafe which is not open always there are 3 parks in campus to hangout. The famous place to hangout in campus are pharmacy park Nescafe and mess . No the night roam is not safe outside the campus

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Profitable for new student for choosing their dream college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students applicable for placement. Highest placement of second last year is 52 lakh per annum and average 16 lakh. In case no campus placement I have family support in some companies. Approximately 70 percentage students placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

My college is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exam are not so big problem. In one semester there are 2 sessional exams and one end semester exams are taken at the end of the semester. And papers made are not so difficult.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods,etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

It's nice and college is good

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. Mostly companies arrive in our college to induct students. At the last skill matters. Last year Microsoft came and gave 60 lakh. Student of civil. So in the end we have to learn to code.

My Journey at NIFTEM

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
