College environment is very positive and pleasant
They maintained very well infrastructure
They were provide so many programs for students

Dislikes

Hostel fees and the food was so pathetic
Transportation was not easier in that remote area
So much bad infrastructure was provided by college

Course Curriculum Overview

The kTU was providing a very tight schedule for students , and exam was so disappointing during that time but we are studying and achieving a great remark for our academics and activities, the faculty was helped in that situation

Internships Opportunities

Actually they doesn't provide any internship but they provide lots offf placement after 4 years of education life , various companies where coming for interviews and almost provide job for all of the studey

Campus Life

In my personal experience they were done a great job in college as well as academic activities , and also college union were done a great job for entertaining students in cultural ways and studies , highly developed classes

Hostel Facilities

Hostel accommodation was good but bad in mess food , the hostel fee was unbearable when compared to hostel food . Our hostel provide a very well developed hostel in alll way they provide WiFi for all of the student

Admission

Actually I m selecting this college for my better future because of they provide a very developed version of study to the students , they offer internships placements and other Academics for the better of students

Faculty

Actually The faculty members was quite pleasant in nature and alsooo very good atmosphere for students they were conducting so many programs for students mental and physical well being and also the college union were done a great job

Night Life

Actually night life was not good because my college is situated in a remote area they doesn't have any proper transportation for all time it is very difficult to travel in night and after 6 pm it is very risk

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
