My life until now in IIST

I like mostly the technology that makes the rockets fly so the aerospace engineering mostly dwells on the fuel combustion systems of different categories and fuel states and also the flight body the inside tech of satellite preparation and all are done by the avionics department they to study flight systems but mostly in this computing and from IIST we can do projects for isro directly. The curriculum is already well prepared and timed which gives us time to stress on topics of utmost importance for longer periods and also enjoy the college life with club activities and sports and fests.They already ask us every semester through a online review portal which is must individually for every teacher for every sem for improvements and course managements.

I pay 20k per semester and extra 15k for the mess food I'm an obc category student and if u have no reservations then 60k per semester and the mess charges remain same and if u are from sc or st caste no money needed for course but mess charges remain same and this year reliance digital marketing company gave free laptops but with certain conditions to be met all in the category above as mentioned but entries economical earnings must be lower then their bar mentioned there is no need for other fees except 5k for caution deposit.For joining here you have to pass the jee advanced exam and enroll in a seperate counselling only for IIST in IIST home website

The major fests are dhanak the cultural fest for four days which is done on even semester after mids and conscientia the tech fest also for four days and in odd sems after mids as usual and several other festivals and and even events based upon intrest pike of people here the library is so huge and we have online access to most of the journals which you can only access after the buying of it. Every club is student run and there are so many game clubs too. Every class has projectors and speakers and mics for teaching.

I applied to the top for IITs giving courses in aerospace and this IIST and no private institutions because this degree is of low importance and intrest in the students of India and difficult to study and maintenance of these labs is far costly for getting profits through admissions and no nit institute is giving this course. My rank is less than required to enroll in IITs so I went for IIST.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:3 and it is true. And they are approachable they give their personal phone numbers and they behave as friends and parents and all the faculty here is extremely experienced and well known for their research works. Some of them even hae experience in isro facilities. Each subject has numerous faculties and each and every one extremely proficient in some topics they teach us that. There are two exams per semester one is mid sem exams and other end sem exams these add upto 70 marks for 100 and the rest they give based on assignments or projects or class tests or combination of all these. And since we are going to study rocket science the exams are also asked in accordance to that for preparing our mind as that of a scientist.

The gym is well maintained the cafeteria is hygieneic and with lots of food options. Library is one of the main stars in this institute and there is park area and fountain area along with some ponds too. The hostel is inside the campus so after first year you can roam at any time inside the campus but for first year's u have to inside the hostel by 11pm. But for going in and out the campus gates morning six and night 10 if it's going to be late u have to inform beforehand to hostel office. Mostly people roam near the cafeteria in the campus which is a small convenience store too.
