Likes

Course outline and Entrepreneurship oriented subjects, which makes unique.
With theories there are projects and lab practical to learn.
Faculty and staff are good and ready to help students.

Dislikes

There is no playground for sports. No extra activities
Irregular classes without prior information of schedule.
Class and labs are not proper functioning.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum align with Skills development and develop entrepreneur mindset to students.There is theory classes as well as practical classes which is required to learn industry related tools.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees was Rs 165000 for 3yr. Each year fees was rs 55000. Student belongs to Below poverty line can avail Merit cum means financial scheme, in which tution fees refunded of last year. There is no other scholarship by college directly.

Campus Life

During my academic journey I enjoyed a lot. I learned from practical classes and enjoyed many activities which was the part of our course curriculum. I participated in many hackathon and earn many certificates and medals.

Admission

Bechalor degree with Specialization in this fee can't find accross India. The unique courses and their promises attract me to take admission in this university. In 2021 it was the only university which provided B.Sc. in Data Analytics course.

Faculty

Some faculties are good and ready to help students while some of them are not so friendly. The course design is so good and help to provide skills which required for industry. Last semester dedicated for Industrial internship. University exam is so easy and any student who comes in classes may score atleast 60-70%

Night Life

We usually spent our day in classes but when we get a chance we hang out outside nearby mall or cinema with friends. We do party and make lots of fun there. The college outside area is very safe and there is market where we do shoping as well.

College life in Dyal Singh College

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

My honest experience at kirorimal college

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement support in the 5th semester itself and 3rd semester for internship from the college. Well over 150+ companies visit our college because of the regirous efforts of our placement cell the highest package is 24lpa the average comes out between 5.5 to 6lpa Around 70 to 80 percentage of students get placed and after my graduation i plan to go for a MBA in finance.

KMC the life of wonders

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mathematics as a subject is what i admire the most as it needs more critical thinking and solving rather than just cramming textbooks.The curriculum on the other hand does not really help to face the real life applications as the curriculum is pretty outdated and needs innovation.It can have more practicality and example based teaching.
