Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum 3.5/5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. Some aspects I liked are the knowledge we get from the electronics part and the communications part. The curriculum really makes us industry ready and fit as standards. I liked this course because I can take both the hardware core jobs and the software coding jobs. Some areas of the course can be improved by including more subjects on the software coding side as well as involvement of some practical sessions. there is about 1 exam per month.
Placement Experience
This college is well known for its placements. My plans after this course would involve getting a good job or considering higher studies. Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. You should have no backlogs and have a cgpa of atleast 7 to get a good well paying job. 80% of the students get placed . The highest salary is 30 lakhs the lowest is 3 lakhs the average is 6 lakhs. Some companies which visit us are Accenture, cognizant, hcl , just pay , Goldman sach.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the yearly fees is around 110000. You have to pay for the semester exam fee which is 1800 per semester it will be increased if you take accelerated courses. JNTU fees is 10000 every year. There is no other extra fees such as lab fees, development fees. If you have qualified eamcet you will get 35000 as scholarship from the government every year. I think the fees is increasing every year. If you have opted for makeup exams it is 300 every subject.
Campus Life
The overall experience in this college for me just average. There aren't many fests or events in this college, mostly it is just lectures and completing assignments. Some of the festival names are consortium which is a technical fest. There are also annual day, freshers day, sports day, traditional day. Sports is worse as there is no ground. Each classroom is well equipped with wifi and air conditioning is available. The library is huge and have all the resources.
Admission
I took this college because I got it in the counselling by qualifying EAMCET exam. Also as this college is like top 10 in Hyderabad it also has some good reviews so I took it. I did apply to many other colleges but I couldn't get admission from them as I was not skilled enough , I didn't scored enough marks to get in them. The admission process in this college is quite easy you just have to submit all your certificates to them and pay the first year fees.
Faculty
The course structure is pretty simple there is 5 subjects every semester. There are 2 internal exams and a final sem exam. There are also exams for laboratories. There are about 80 students per teacher. I liked some of the faculties as they were very friendly and have passion for teaching. I didn't like some of them as they were just reading out the presentation kept in the classroom. The exams are not that hard you can pass them with 2 days of studying. The pass percentage should be above 70%.
Night Life
The nightlife in this college is average. You can play sports after college or engage in other extracurricular activities. Late night activities include bonfire and study hours. Gyms are open and the equipments are pretty good and new. The locality is safe to roam around night. Campus timings are from morning 9:45 to 4:10 in the evening. College provides hostel buses for the students. Famous hang out spots is the canteen and the parking area benches.
