Likes

Mostly teacher are friendly they use to good talk with student help students
Fee structure is so good it is good for middle class family
Every year college provide free skill based course to the student

Dislikes

College campus is very small it's not much good
75 to 80 percent attendance must in college if you not go college they also fined for that
Lab are not good computers is very slow old processed only few lab are good

Course Curriculum Overview

I persuing currently btech in cse so I choose cse because of its my goal to become a software engineer so the college curriculum is not so good it is old fashioned education curriculum system not a industrial based education system but gradually it's been improved yearly

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many paid and free courses skill based courses given collage and also in summer vacation collage provide us internship opportunity Companies come in college for internship it'd is good for Student to meet there industrial knowledge

Placement Experience

Placement is decent average package of btec cse is 4 lpa and not all the students get placed placement percent is 60 to 65 and the college highest package goes to 18 lpa college improve there placement year by year

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fee for btech cse is 90 thousand 72 is course fee and other is dress fee and ragistration fee library fee etc and 2nd 3rd and 4rth year fee is 72 thousand per year 60 thousand is tution fee and 12 thousand is other charges

Campus Life

Our college held many functions like annual function technical fest , sports fest etc all fest done in summer time because summer session is little longer than winter sessions, College also have different club make by different branches which work on to provide good stuff in college, Library is good all the subjects book. Available in library

Admission

I choose this college because of it is affordable fees structure for btech cse and its also approved by AICT and PCI and it is affiliated with uttrakhand technical university which is state university of uttrakhand and other colleges which I apply have a very expensive for btech cse so I choose this college

Faculty

The ratio of faculty and student is 30:1 the relationship between students and teachers is good but teacher change every months it's not good for students and also make impact on students education many teachers are not post graduate

Night Life

Girls cannot go out of the hostel after 8 pm and boys after 10 pm The canteen is open till 10 pm so everyone can go and eat there Mess time is for girls it's 7 pm and for boys it's 8 pm In morning it's 8 o'clock

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
