Likes

First think I would like that the Professors of this college are brilliant and supportive.
College have very good sport facilities also.
There are many clubs in this college. Students can join according to their interest.

Dislikes

Not occupied total space of college .Most area is useless.
I think they should give more focus on placements.
Too much strict action against undisciplinary students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Btech in civil engineering according to my passion and interest .I have dream from my childhood to be an civil engineer and build a dream house ,society for people.This college provides all the things which are needed for this course .

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Visveswaraya National Institute of technology is a college of national importance and situated in Maharashtra Nagpur.This is government autonomous college .Total fee for a year is 135000* including tution fee=125000 ,and others10000*.This is for general and obc student.And scholarship for them if they have annual income less than 100000* then they get full tution fee remission of 125000*. For category students total fee for a year is 12000*. And hostel fee is same for all categories 70000* for a particular year.

Campus Life

There are many festivals celebrating in this college .All the social festivals of different differnt states are celebrating in this college.And some college festivals also like Instituet gathering ,technical fest name as AXIS, and AROHI is central India biggest fest celebrating in this college.Overall the social life of this college is good .

Admission

I choose this college because this is a college of national importance and government autonomous college.Also the NIRF ranking of this college is under top 30 which is excellent.Also this college have good campus and placements.

Faculty

Faculty for students are enough to handle.And including all faculties all are good. And structure of exam is there are two semesters in a year. In one semester there is a mid sem exam of 30 marks and end sem exam for 50 marks rest 20 marks on internal.

Night Life

Nightlife of this college is not that much good .Because in first year Hostel intime is 8:00pm so all the students be inside after 8:00pm . But they injoy in hostel also. And from second year there is no hostel intime but the main get of college close at 11:00pm.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Nice curriculum in my cource in first year 6 subject are there which are maths chemistry physical engineering drawing and mining geology classes and approx length of each class is 55 min which is nice

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate.
