Course Curriculum Overview

3

To be honest it is not a very good course mostly students got this course because they don't have any other option. But there is success also if we give our best. It's a combination of zoo, bot and chemistry. So there are many opportunities after it in different fields

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 23,000 annually and it is a 3 year degree. Our fees is slightly higher than the other colleges of North and South campuses. But it is a overall good college, the environment is good, faculty is also good and helpful.. It's my First year and yes, scholarship is also there for the intelligent and financially unstable students who fullfills the criteria. We have to give examination fees also every semester which is around 2000( varies with subjects). For the quota students the fees is same but they get a benefit of admission

Campus Life

4

Personally I don't involves in social works which is wrong but I saw many students they are enjoying alot in participating in different fields. Infrastructure is Shivaji college is good because of the new building it have lifts, air conditioners and Auditoriums which is very good too see

Admission

I got this college because I didn't cleared the cut-offs of other better colleges, I went totally sick during the cuet exam. I just attempted it and I have no idea what is happening. The admission process is totally online DU have great management for this after exam we directly started to go to college we just uploaded our documents on csas portal

Faculty

4

The relationship between students and faculty is very good. They understand us what we are want. Many times we adjust according to them and many times they too. They responds us quickly. I personally didn't enjoy my EVS class because it's too long. I have 7 exams and 4 practicals, the chemistry exam is difficult, mostly students passes their exam

Night Life

4

I have literally no idea about the night life in college because I'm not a hostel or og students so I can't connect with it but yeah according to my friends the area around college is very peaceful and food is good

Other Applied Colleges

We have an active placement cell in the college. Students are eligible for placement in 6th Semester. there are quite a lot of companies that offer jobs and we do get a decent average package. I plan on pursuing master's degree after this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because statistics is a rising field and is used everywhere . Also l had a good command on Statistics and maths in 12th standard. I believe that this course is really very relevant for today's world but could be made a bit more practical to be applied in real world situations.

I my opinion they must add the logical and critical part more than the traditional proving part in all core subjects . Its more like we are becoming a bookworm rather than to train our minds logically.

I believe that my course has relevance in the upcoming generation. Statistics is a department where a person could flourish and learn a lot and at the same time applying it in their own life. There could be more connections with real examples and professors could take example and also enhance our knowledge. My course is a rigourous course which needs proper studies as well
