Course Curriculum Overview

4

The frequency and timing of exams still need to be improved. The time for a semester normally would be 6 months. But the exam would be conducted and publishment of results is a long term process which needs improvement. Overall curriculum also needs improvement

Fees and Financial Aid

The government funds the college. So a nominal fee was charged for the course. SC ST and OBC students get exemptions in fee during admissions and examinations. Students can get e grants scholarship during every academic year

Campus Life

5

The overall experience in the campus for three years was just mind-blowing. The college offers NCC, NSS, Arts festivals, and sports meets so that students can develop their innate capabilities other than academic interests.

Admission

As it is a government college and also the number one college in Kerala according to the NIRF rankings, I wanted to study here. The experienced faculties and the University library offer a wide rage of opportunities for self-improvement and to develop and academic rigor and interest.

Faculty

5

Teachers are experienced and well versed in their discipline. They are approachable at any time. They are supportive for both academic and non acadmeic activites. Their help in commendable during industrial visits and projects

Night Life

5

There are so many hangout spots and late-night centers near the college like Kanakakkunnu Palace, Manaveeyam Veedhi and Museum which is hardly 2 kilometers from the college. Students can avail hostel facilities near the college

Exams are held each semester and are moderately difficult beacuse of this, so practical training and teaching methods need improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as because I like English Literature. The student ratio that my class own is about 48 students in total. Majority of the teachers who are posted there are those who have qualified with NET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST). The current HOD is one of the retired Assistant Professor from one of the renowned college around Kozhikode town. Internal exam were timely, but coming to University exams it was so restless. But as if now, it is getting into the track again by conducting exams on time.
