I was being opted by the management on the basis of my community. There were separate data provided by the management, for the students who are awarded seats on the management quota. I was selected on the basis of a recommendation from my 'parochial vicar'. My contact certificate, copy of the +2 mark list, 10th mark list were being presented to the teachers who are in charge of admission.

I've always been so keen to learn English. And my enthusiasm to learn more and more about English lead me in taking this course. St. Thomas has never even compromised in yielding talented students. The college itself is charged with faculty members who are interested in teaching students both academically and in morale. Each semester consists of months followed by semester exams and internals in between. Being an autonomous college, it had successfully accomplished taking exams without any compromise or interruptions.

From the 5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Wipro Technologies, Infosys Bangalore, Tata consultancy services, South Indian Bank, federal bank, MRF visit regularly to recruit young talents. About 60% of students who are trying for placements are being opted by different companies.

Students who have been opted by the college on the basis of merit and management quota have to pay a sum of 3,000 per semester. That means about 6,000 per academic year, for 3 years. Students are provided with various scholarships on the basis of certain eligibility. The college has its own placement cell in supporting the students to acquire jobs as soon as they graduate.

Annual fest tech, food fest, and other major functions have been conducted by the college and its students. The college itself has 3 libraries which have a wide variety of books of different genres, which is especially helpful for students who are enthusiastic about reading books. The physical education clubs in the college help students in achieving physical fitness. National Cadet Corps and national service scheme also help in creating a sense of patriotism and duty within students, towards the nation. Plus students of different departments connect themselves by joining different clubs such as film club, readers club, music club, cooking club, and other diverse clubs.
