Likes

Nothing much college fests and all used to happen
Elections used to occur where it was like for the betterment of college
Sports was very prominent in gc university

Dislikes

Exams used to be taken very frequently for months
Conflicts were very common during my time
Poor sanitization in campus and no proper drinking water solutions

Course Curriculum Overview

It was my personal call to opt for my course My course gave me a basic idea about every possible thing related to trade and commerce Economy and accounting Exams were very frequent for each sem we have to appear for a internal exam of 20 marks and mains of 70 the rest 10 marks for attendance

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Each odd semester it's like 5000-6000 Also they provide less fee scheme for economically backward class with the production of required certificate For everything semester it was like 200 center fee and 400-500 for enrollment payment

Campus Life

Annual sports fest was to be held it used to be held in February The Library was vast full of books of every interest Projector were there for making us understand properly Computer labs science labs were available

Admission

I applied for gc college only as I did my hs from the same so I was at first preference for the college to provide me seat And moreover the college i studied was a govt college so i paid a very less amount compared to the private colleges

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio was less the faculty are very helpful though I obviously liked my commerce department Because of their helpful approach towerds us and another reason cause I have not much idea about other faculty There are internal exams before every 100 mark paper and it was easy to pass

Night Life

College had a gym which was free for college students and exclusively available for them only Cafe was also available hostels were not available The famous jackfruit tree is a spotlight NCC field was there to roam safely

Course Curriculum Overview:

The facilities are too good in that area , this college is reputed since my parents young age . All the teachers are well educated in those subjects, they even wrote books we can get from Amazon, they are experienced teachers.

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

Riyalistic biheart review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom from Gauhati Commerce College is a great thing to be heard of if you are from Assam. As it is a renowned college and many alumni are influential and big personalities. So yes bcom is a god course. But it is not much real world based i guess. As modern day is changing rapidly but our syllabus and course haven't changed much from a decade or more. One can see it by seeing past years papers.

GCC MY DREAM COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's an easy course after HS so I choose this course, timing of exams are very frequent, and the difficulty level is as per the courses, Higher the course, higher the level of difficulty. Most of the people choose this course.

At all the gurucharan college is a good college .A college which the faculty members are also good and the environment.

Life at G.C College, Silchar

Apart from this college I also applied to Assam University, Silchar but the campus is too far from my home and Gurucharan college, Silchar is nearer to my home and due to that I chose my current college. To get admission in Gurucharan college, Silchar, you need to apply at samarth portal of Assam government first then after fullfilling all the procedures you can go to college website and take admission to in any of the desired course and if you missed the chance, at the end of July if seats are still unfilled the college starts an on-spot admission process where you have to visit college and on the basis of first come first admit they start admitting students until seats are fulfilled. If you have a decent percentage that is above 60% in your 12th you can be guaranteed a seat in college in any of your desired department without any worries....Read More
