Dr AIT , Is the college worth the money ?

In Bangalore emost of the college are regulated by vtu , but our college is autonomous and has its own syllabus and exam patterns , as our college is autonomous it prints its own exam papers which is update every year . The syllabus keeps on updating every year and we are introduced to new gen technologies that are running around the world .

I have not done any internship till now , I will try finding internship if I get a chance to in some companies as soon as I start developing skills required to fit in the industry well . College seniors do get internship

Placements in our college is not that good but it's ok ok , like last year we didn't had so many companies visiting the college campus last year , our seniors also struggled a bit last year but the placement dept keeps care of it and tries a lot to give placement to all the students. But this year we have seen a good change in the number of companies visiting our college , so many new companies have visited this year and people have cracked the interviews from our college. The average package is around 7 lakhs and the highest package is around 25 lakhs .

So My name is Ashish Ranjan and I got admitted to this college through an entrance exam called Comedkin 2023 . My rank was 20103 . At this rank I got CSBS in Dr AIT . Through Comedkin the fees is about 2.64 lakhs per year as tuition fees , and since i'm a resident of Bihar I couldn't get any scholarship in Karnataka .

The infrastructure is ok okish , not so great not so bad since the college is of 1980 . The college campus is of 25 acres and has sports complex which is recently inaugurated by the state present CM few days back . There is a cricket ground along with basketball ground , an indorr gym and a few more activities to do .

I stay in college own hostel , and I'm from Ananda bhavan hostel of our college DrAit bangalore . I pay 82000 per year for hostel accommodation and mess , the fees included mess fee , hostel fees , and maintenance fees too . Hostel is ok ok since our hostel is very old it was built in 1995s or something . The hostel north mess nenu is not great but some things are good some days it's not good

Basically engineering was my pasion and I wanted to pursue engineering as a career too, so I appeared in jee mains but I was not able to crack it in my first attempt , I took a drop year and gave Comedkin exam also that year and somehow I got into this college at my rank .

The faculty of our college are well educated and phd holders , they co-operate with us in all terms and consider our things . There are good amount of faculties for every branch not just mine . Dr shooryanarayan sir is very nice she used to teach us maths in last sem . Basically in our college there are 2 internal exams and 1 sem end exam , if any person fails to attend any internal exam he is given a chance to sit in cie3 which is a kind of internal exam .

This is actually the best part , evey night we go for walk with out friends freely because our college is in the city centre of Bangalore in a locality called Nagarbhavi . So many things are there to explore near this locality like parks are near , food stalls are best , malls and other thing are also very near to our college . The hostel timing for boys is 10 pm at night it closes and for girls it closes at 7:30 pm in evening .
