Remarks
IIT MADRAS provides an excellent opportunity to excel in sports. It has got excellent sports facilities for cricket, football, athletics, hockey, squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, weightlifting, swimming etc. In the first year, some students are selected for each sport and they are trained well in that sport under the program NSO. Leaving it, beginner camps are organized, from time to time for enthusiastic students who want to learn the fundamental skills required for the game. Advanced summer camps are also launched in the summer holidays to provide excellence in that particular sport. IIT CHENNAI is no way behind in cultural. Be it music, dance, photography, fashion, dramatics, movie-making, design, speaking arts, etc. , IIT CHENNAI has got clubs for each of these which are managed by students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is always not the same it keeps updating every year as new things happening in the world. Exam is a bit tough you need to understand every class and solve all the assignments to get full marks.

Placements and Job opportunities are huge you just need some communication skills to crack them they come with huge packages. Yes, my college provide internship and you can get PPOs also. Stipend ranges from 6LPA to 40 Lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible to scheduled casts and who get scholarships. It's expensive except for some classes like those who are having the reservation and there are fees concession for the students whose family annual income is less than 5 lakhs .general students have to spend around 3 lakhs per annum which is a bit expensive. But the main thing is how much you pay in IIT that won't be sufficient at all to run the campus govt. gives additional funding to meet expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
Student loan is offered in Institute SBI bank and can be paid through Demand draft. SBI provides an interest-free loan under VIDYA LAKSHMI SCHEME to the eligible students and the eligibility criteria depend upon the family annual income. It also provides scholarships to some unprivileged castes
Campus Life
Very good. The institute has departments and advanced research centres across the disciplines of engineering and the pure sciences, and nearly 100 laboratories. Research programmes concern work undertaken by faculty members or specific research groups within departments that award an MS or PhD degree. Research is carried out by scholars admitted into these departmental programmes, under the guidance of their faculty. Each department makes known its areas of interest to the academic community through handbooks, brochures and bulletins. Topics of interest may be theoretical or experimental. IIT Madras has initiated 16 inter-disciplinary research projects against identified focus areas.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is an important segment in every college because they are the one who experienced the college before us and we will learn great things from them and IIT MADRAS provides good platform and sessions to connect students and alumni. By all means, college is ultimate and it provides the best education in whole India in engineering.
Admission
First qualify in JEE Mains then JEE Advanced. If you are qualified in both the exams then you have counselling of around 3-8 rounds and certificate verification at any IITs. You will get know the college after that and you can join.
Faculty
Faculty are the best one's. Every student has a faculty advisor they guide through all the academic things and easy approachable. They work on many research areas and can take project under any professor.
