IITM BS: Gives Everything You Need as A College Student.

I choosed this course because of the alumani network of IIT Madras and also because of the well maintained course curriculum of the course. From foundational level (i.e. first year) there are hands on real world applications and projects in the course. the frequency and timing of exams are: exams happens in three terms in a year that is January, May and september term. there are two quizes (i.e. mid sem) and a end sem in every term.

The placement cell manages the internships, the companies are not specific to mantion hat offers internship because every company like amazon, flipkart, and a lot of startup-s offer internships with stipends this process happens by mails.

There is seperate IITM BS Placement cell that provide internship and placment opportunities to almost every students who are eligible. Companies like wipro, amazon or many more companies visits for placements. highest package isn't disclosed of BS degree but the average package is something 10LPA. almost 70 to 80 % students are getting placed.

Rajistration fees is RS 3000 one time payment and the college fees varies from first year to fourth year. first year fees is RS 33000 and upto fourth year it is RS 351000 there are 75% fees wavier are also applicable for eligible students whos income is less then 5lakh, and OBC or SC/ST category. bus fees, lab fees etc is not applicable as the degree is remote degree and comes under digital education. The course is too much affordable to me because I am eligible for fee wavier.

My ecxperience with the college or with this degree is very good, this program gives you all the necessary things that makes a perfect college life. there is central librabry in the campus and if BS students want to go into the library they can go with there IITM BS ID card. there are offline and online both mode of sports available for BS students, student can participate in many online sports i.e. E-Sports like BGMI, Free-Fire and a lot. there are many active social groups, clubs and socities of BS degree and even I am a part of one of it named "Sahara: The Social Welfare Society of IITM BS", and I got valuable exprience from it.

I choosed this college because IIT Madras is one of the prestigious university of India and ofcourse it has ranking worldwide. It's alumuns works everywhere in the world. the addmission process happens with two mode one JEE based entry and another one is regular entry, regular entry students have to give a qualifier exam to proceed in the course.

As the degree is digital degree the student-faculty ratio dosen't applied here, but yeah the student-faculty relationship is too much good, there are gmails, spaces, discourses to intract. All the faculties are lovable are respected and also Professor Sudershan sir (teches python) is one of the most favourite teacher I know, he teaching is remarkable because of his smile, he and every faculty teaches with full of joy and energy.

There are gym's ,careterias, libraries everything is in campus and everything is open for BS students all you need to access them is just your IITM BS ID card. One of the most famous hangout is Alora, that is above the cafeteria is a very good place. Night hangouts are very lovely. In Paradox (A offline fest for BS students) I enjoyed it too much and ofcourse I can't forget it in my lifetime.
