BS in Electronic system from IIT Madras

Flexibility that this course provides motivated me to consider this course. Syllabus of this course is up to date as it makes us industry ready after degree completion. lecture of this course are pretty boring as you have to sit infront of your laptop screen for long time. Exams are conducted every 30 days and difficulty level increases as you proceed in your degree.

They provide many internship opportunities to talented students and it ranges from 10k to 25k per month stipend. Many well renowned company visit our college for this. Like smart ed etc.students joins company as a trainee and gets industry experience.

BS in data science students have completed their 1st batch and got highest placement of 23 lacs and average of 8 lacs . So placement of electronic system will also revolve around this figure. After 3rd year students are eligible for placements. Most of the Bengaluru based tech company visited for this degree holders. I have a plan to go for higher studies abroad after completing this degree.

Tution fees of BS in Electronic system in IIT Madras is 146000 per year making a total of 584000 for 4 year degree. Their is no scholarship but They provide Fee waivers according to Category. Sc/st and obc with less than 1 lac income gets 75% fee waiver and obc with more than 1 lac income and less than 5 lac also gets 50% waiver. No waiver for general category.

Their is no campus life as this is a online degree. But they have a annual fest called paradox,, which is a grand occasion where students meet each other annually for atleast 5 days in month of May or June . We can access all facilities of IIT Madras like Library playground etc. We don't have classroom as we attend our lectures online, but we can access lab for our practical knowledge and labs of IIT Madras are very well developed with latest technologies. During fest we have many sports competition and we get a chance to play their. Their are more than 20 different types of society and clubs for Bs community. This society are a golden opportunity to develop your skills.

I chose this college because I got admission without appearing in IIT advanced as I cleared only jee mains and got direct admission in this degree. IIT Madras has a environment full of opportunities. We will complete our degree by sitting home but alumini status of this college will give us a lot of exposure that a top private college couldn't. I got a seat in Central University of Karnataka,,I rejected because they don't have good placement. This course being a online degree provides a better placement. You can take admission in this college by clearing jee mains or clearing a qualifier exam conducted by IIT Madras.

Faculty of IIT Madras is too notch. You get to study from proffesors who are iitian itself. Their is no issue in content quality. Course has 3 terms a year of 3 months each with a gap of 1 month as a holiday between them . Each month they conduct CBT exams. And marking system depends on proffesors but marks are given in percentage .. whatsoever is the full marks of exam.
